You’ll feel your spirits lift as you enter the cheerful, sunny great room of this contemporary single-level home perched in the sand and dune grass of Pacific City. Graced with pretty modern furnishings, hardwood floors, and a high vaulted ceiling, Sand Castle invites you to relax and enjoy your stay. A stylish kitchen with comfy cork floors, a breakfast bar, beautiful wood cabinets, a glass tile backsplash, and a professional Viking gas range will delight the cook, and everyone will be glad to sit at the dining room table for fresh local fish or crab right off of the dory boats. Extend your meals by using the gas barbecue and dining table on the huge deck, which opens to the pretty wooded commons of Shorepines. Two queen bedrooms, one a primary suite with a walk-in shower, are spacious and bright. A third bedroom has a Blu-Ray player and TV and a double futon sofa sleeper, so it doubles as a convenient den. With reliable high-speed wi-fi and an over-size, built-in desk/office set-up it's perfect for those who work from away.
You’ll find bikes and helmets for cruising the neighborhood and a Level 2 EV Charger in the garage. It’s an easy walk over the dune to miles of open beach and the stunning beauty of Haystack Rock. We enjoyed our stay very much, clean and well equipped and appointed home. Home in a nice residential / rental community, quiet and with walking paths around and to the beach. There is a boardwalk ramp to the top of a dune, which allows for beach access, although it is a bit steep on the ocean side, the kids will have fun, and the beach is mostly uncrowded.

This was one of our best beach stays ever. The property was as described online ——clean, a well-equipped kitchen, extremely comfortable beds, and even bikes! The home is in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the beach via short trail or paved path to town. Meredith Lodging was easy to work with we will definitely be back soon!
