This charming romantic and cozy cottage is located in Yachats, just across the river, and south of the Village, so very easy stroll into town, or across Hwy 101 to Yachats Ocean Rd, to the entrance stairs to the beach. It is truly a 'Hansel and Gretel' cottage, with wonderful cozy throws to snuggle up under, on the cushy couch, with propane stove for ambiance. Fabulous covered front deck has Adirondack chairs, great for relaxing with a glass of your favorite beverage, enjoying the Yachats days, peaks of the ocean, or to unwind. Stroll into town to view some of the many shops, or dine in Yachats many wonderful restaurants. The Cottage has everything you'll need, just bring your clothes and food! It is sure to become a favorite getaway, for a singles retreat, couples romantic vacation, or small families. Pet friendly! (limited to 1 small pet only, up to 30 pounds maximum). Guinevere's Cottage also provides a lovely workspace for those who might need to get down to business while on vacation!

A welcome respite from our daily lives nestled in surrounding towering trees, and just a skip, hop , and jump to the estuary. Beautifully appointed and mindfully stocked to ensure our stay was a seamless experience.

The place is adorable and quaint with lots of little interesting details throughout! Lots of books to read, puzzles, DVD’s and a Roku TV. The beach is right down the street and is absolutely beautiful. My partner and I loved the coffee maker and the ability to cook dinners in the small kitchen. Would definitely come back!

We absolutely fell in love with the cabin. They have everything you could ever want. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking/bakeware, the shelves are full of nautical/foraging/PNW themed books, and there's a great selection of board games. The cabin is in the perfect peaceful area, just a short walk to the beach and the town. We are definitely coming back during our next trip to the coast

We loved staying at this little cottage tucked off Highway 101 in Yachats. A long tree-lined driveway ends with a clearing and cottage complete with beautiful perennial gardens and a relaxing porch. The cottage was very clean and cozy, with pride of ownership throughout. While we didn’t do much cooking, the kitchen was well-stocked with high end kitchenware. We have been to Yachats a number of times and it never disappoints. The ocean vistas, forest trails, and quaint town draw us back each time. We were able to walk into town from the cottage. We had a little trouble finding the little driveway off 101, wish there was better signage or more detailed arrival instructions.

The instructions for accessing the rental were very easy. The location was excellent, although it was up on the hill surrounded by beautiful trees/forest and not with the typical ocean view home we generally rent. Excellent customer service - We initially thought the heating system in the bedroom could not be turned off. I reached out to my contact and got an immediate response. Fairly dark at night outside the cottage...porch light isn't too bright. So, suggest bringing a flashlight if you'll need to give your dog a last walk at night.

The rough, rutted, muddy trail uphill through the woods belies the jewel of a little house that lies at the end. Wood living room with cathedral ceiling and view of the woods, cozy bedroom, small efficient kitchen, a charming, clean cottage minutes from the beach, downtown Yachats and the spectacular headlands of Cape Perpetua.

The fantastic book collection alone had us wanting to stay in this warm, bright cabin another week. We were surrounded by trees and birdsong every day. The gated back deck was perfect for the pooch and they even included a nice pet care basket to use during the stay with bowls, towels, a blanket, and toy. A short walk down the dirt road and across the highway brings you to a beautiful beach where the river flows into the ocean. Another 10 minute walk gets you to downtown Yachats. We can't wait to come back.

The house was cute, but very small. The outdoor space was nice, but it was too cold to sit outside. I love that they had many DVDs to watch, which was fun. We were there with our teenager and he slept on the pull out couch. We didn't realize the couch is an air mattress, which was easy to inflate but hard to deflate and reassemble the bed. My biggest complaints with the house is that the pull out bed was filthy when we pulled it out and the main bed was hard as a rock. Very uncomfortable. And to top it off the main bed had a jean comforter and pillow cases, which was very hot and scratchy. I didn't even know jean material was a thing for bedding! The bedroom gets really hot with the door closed as well. Overall, not being able to sleep well is sort of a deal breaker for me so probably won't go back even though everything else was really nice and cute, except the beds.

This is a beautiful cabin located in the woods with a short walk to the beach. It is also a short walk to town which is great when there is a lot of folks in town (parking is limited). Lots to see and do in the area. Walked the 804 trail along the coast and spent time looking for shells. Local food was great and fresh. The cabin is stocked with everything you would need to spend a relaxing time away from home. The instructions for everything are well thought out and located where you would need them. Enjoyed browsing the books and the DVD movies. Will be coming back.

My husband and I enjoyed staying at this sweet property. The bed is super comfortable - we slept great! We also appreciated the book selection and tasteful artwork. Our only disappointment was not being able to get the gas fire place to light, but we decided not to bother the property manager about it because it was late. Oh, and the TV remote batteries were dead, including the extras, but that is a minor complaint. Everything else was lovely.
