HI5 Kuta

It's close to all the action. This is not necessarily a good thing depending on what you are after. It's got everything you need in Indonesia. Air-conditioned room, a nice pool, a comfortable bed and a clean room. Its cheap and adequate if you are not fussy. Do not book this place if you are after luxury.

Its a little run down. Because it's close to the action, it's quite noisy. Not really a problem for a short stay, or if you plan on being up all night, but the roosters next door will be a problem the next morning if you are a light sleeper. There is also a restaurant near by with live music. However, I think that shut down by 10pm. The bathroom was an odd layout, with the sink in the bedroom, when there is more than enough room in the bathroom. The toilets are an ongoing issue. They don't flush properly so you have to use the sprayer to finish the flush.

Good place to stay. Location is perfect. Close to the Main Street and to the beach

Some time you can hear a music from a Rasta bar if there is a party.

The location was perfect, central enough to all the restaurants and bars yet not on the Main Street. The staff were incredible and so nice especially Rul who couldn’t have been nicer! The room was lovely and spacious with a big nice bathroom and good ac.

The outside area was not as well maintained as the pictures showed so we went to other hotels/beach clubs for pool days.

The staff was very nice and friendly, the location was near lots of restaurants and cafes. The rooms were spacious and comfortable bed.

We chose this place as it had a nice garden, pool and mini bar. We were travelling with a 4 year old and the pool and mini bar fridge (for his food and drinks storage) was important. We arrived and the pool was out of order and no mini bar in the rooms. The pool was opened the next day but not safe for swimming as it has green mould on the tiles and in the jets etc. The water was also dirty. The place does not look like the pictures either.
