Perfect location and home for Magical Shanklin

Magical location with views over fields. A short walk into Shanklin centre via a traffic free road. Parking space a plus. A lovely ‘home’ feel about the decor. Comfortable beds, living area, and well equipped kitchen. Garden tiny but adequate with great patio furniture. Lots of lovely led lights !!!! My wife particularly liked the black rabbits that came out to play at dusk and dawn.

TBH, hard to think of anything. Possibly a grab- handle in the bath/shower but then I am knocking on a bit and I managed perfectly well. Thank you.

Beautifully clean, everything we needed, amazing location which was actually better than expected for visiting the beach in the old town of Shanklin, garden area is lovely very spacious and well equipped for a family with a little one

The only minor thing and it’s really minor is that in one of the bedrooms there were no curtains and quite a lot of light comes through in the morning which wakes you up a bit earlier than you’d want the shutters are fine but the difference between the two bedrooms and the quality of sleep was a thing

Overall, its a beautiful cottage and very comfortable. We would love to stay there again.

Unfortunately the dish washer had issues and we had to wash dishes with hands every day which was a pain. May be the owner should check it before renting it every time.

Incredibly well equipped, contained everything you could possibly need. From first aid kit to fan and insulated picnic backpack to phone chargers. Property was very clean. Communication with host was great. I’d highly recommend

Property was great. Only tiny thing I didn’t like was it was so well equipped that there was no cupboard space left in the kitchen for us to store food. We were able to use a 3 tier veg rack for most stuff but it would have been more of a problem if we were staying for longer.

The house is at a quiet location, not far from the beach. It is well equipped, decorated which gives us more cosy than a home feeling. The house is very clean, the cleanest holiday house I have even visited.

An excellent property, would definitely visit again.

Exceptionally well equipped, great location. Host’s communication was timely, good and clear Great location with plenty to see and do.

Would benefit from a fan in the front bedroom as this room was very warm at night. The sofa bed settee in the lounge was a little uncomfortable (the seats slope forwards/downwards) These things said it was still a fabulous cottage.

One word Wonderful

Beautiful location and lovely cottage. Somewhere nice to relax after a day sight seeing. Fully equipped. Nice little touches tea, coffee, biscuits milk etc. The setting was so peaceful. Would highly recommend and stay again should we ever return to the island

We was fortunate to plan our trip whilst the weather was lovely. The bedrooms got very hot in the evening it would have been lovely to have a fan to cool us down. Would of liked to have slept with window and curtains open but next doors outside light was on all through the night shining directly into the bedroom

Very comfortable accommodation.

We all agreed that we had never stayed in such a clean and well equipped accommodation. The owner seems to have catered for every need. The house is well sited in a quiet location within walking distance to Old Shanklin Town. The neighbours were very friendly and helpful. A very comfortable place to stay and we would certainly recommend it and willingly return on another occasion.

Excellent home from home

The cottage was immaculate and the owners had provided absolutely everything u could Possibly require. It is decorated to a very high standard and is immaculately clean. We found the location perfect, about a 7 min walk from the old village. It is set in the beautiful grounds of Shanklin manor. We will definitely be returning Many thanks
