Ivy Todd cottage

Bluebell Lodge is a perfect stay for a restful night on a long journey. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. Everything was ready on arrival including a stocked fridge with a plentiful continental breakfast of meats, cheese , pastries and yoghurt ect. They even supplied food for our Dog. The bed was comfy and the kitchen lounge petit but ample. The enclosed garden was a bonus for the dog as was the public footpath right beside the main entrance. Overall Its not the sort of place we would normally book but it has such charm and was such a good experience we would have no hesitation in booking again.

It's about a 15 minute drive back to the motorway. But the location is what makes it so peaceful

We were made so welcome by John and Joan , inviting us into the cottage for a lovely chat before John showed us to our lodge and we were amazed at the amount and variety of food they had made avaliable for us to enjoy. The the generosity of our hosts made our stay truly memorable. We will definitely return and would highly recommend this accommodation. Superb .

Everything was perfect

Lovely rural location. A great self-contained lodge with garden access. Lots of choices for Continental breakfast. Very clean. Friendly hosts who took their time to chat and made us feel very welcome. Thank you.

Lovely, clean accommodation set in stunning gardens. The accommodation was extremely well equipped and breakfast choice amazing. Owner very welcoming and who ensured that there were no issues. The bed was very comfortable.
