    The hotel is cheap and cheerful. Basic but handy for its location and price. It was quite noisy with the windows open because of the aircraft and people arriving and leaving so I wouldn't recommend it if you are a light sleeper. No air-conditioning so if it's hot, you'll need the windows open.

    Seen some negative reviews but our room was modernised and very clean. We had everything we needed, apart from aircon, but the windows were huge and allowed the room to cool down. The restaurant is quirkily decorated, has decent food, a bar and a TV. Again, the only let down is that there was no aircon therefore it was very warm

    Hotel is nice enough as had room in new loft conversion. But towel rail in bathroom was constantly on full not able to turn it off . Hotel staff did check it . Dogs barking from neighbours property. Cockkeral calling in the dawn light . Hotel is not equipped to deal with the heat we've had over the weekend. Not that good with windows open ...under the flight path . Plus make sure you check your parking ...what is it with Essex you have to pay separately for parking register your number plate and not just in hotels . The group of us had 3 cars over a 2 night stay so paid £37.20 more rip off Britain charges . Just because others in the past have abandoned cars there to go to the airport. Disappointed would not book again

    A very tired looking hotel, not very clean . We allegedly had a deluxe suite, the carpet was sticky under foot, the bathroom was awful!! There is a bus which stops outside to the airport but it stops running at 18:00 hours. Didn’t have much interaction with the staff. The breakfast was inedible., it was cold. It’s a shame as it could be a really nice hotel with some TLC.
