Peaceful away from the hustle of central ubud but only 10mins on a scooter.

Loved having my own private villa and pool to relax in calm surroundings.

Outdoor area is beautiful, comfortable bed, staff super helpful and breakfast is very good and abundant. Villa is located in the middle of the rice fields quite far from the centre but beautiful area and quite. From the villa to road access you have approx 300mtr walk which we didn’t mind and approx 20 min to the centre by car. There is a nice restaurant next to the villa. The staff offer laundry services, very responsive on whats app, very accommodating to your requests and you can request a packed breakfast

Property needs good maintenance. The doors do not shut completely you have gaps where insects come inside. There is also a hole in the gypsum roof where geckos were coming inside. We also had an ant infestation which put us off the whole stay as they were EVERYWHERE. Pool does not get any sunlight during the day so its always freezing and we saw frogs in it.

I hesitated before writing this review, but I feel it is important to be fair and to give future guests a clear and objective picture. I understand that everyone has different comfort levels and standards, and this review reflects my personal experience. What I liked • The bedroom was nicely furnished and visually appealing • The pool area looked cute and well designed, although I did not get the chance to use it as I stayed only one night and arrived late • The staff were friendly, accommodating, and kind, which reflects the warmth of Indonesian hospitality

The villa is not easily accessible by car. Taxis cannot reach the property directly, and guests are escorted part of the way by motorbike, which may not be convenient for everyone. • Although I confirmed in advance that the bathroom was enclosed, it is not properly insulated. This results in very high humidity, dampness, and the potential for insects and other creatures to enter the space. • During the night, there was a very loud gecko, and overall the lack of insulation throughout the property made the stay feel uncomfortable. • The bathroom felt dated and could benefit from refurbishment. Some amenities, including the toilet seat, appeared old and in need of replacement. • The bathtub did not feel inviting or usable and seemed unnecessary. • The kitchen is fully open, which means constant exposure to mosquitoes, insects, and geckos. The kitchen area and some items, such as the sponge and other amenities, appeared dated and not clean, again not very inviting to use. • The property overall is extremely humid and not well insulated. Even with the air conditioning on, the space feels quite exposed. This may be uncomfortable for guests who suffer from sinus issues or are sensitive to humidity. Overall, the villa did not meet my personal standards, and I decided to leave after one night. This property may suit travelers who are comfortable with open plan living, humidity, insects, and more rustic conditions, but I would not recommend it for solo travelers or for those seeking a more enclosed, insulated, and modern environment.
