Arrandale felt like a 'home away from home'.

This place felt like a 'home away from home'. It was beautiful, cosy, warm & very well equipped. We were travelling for days before we stayed here & it was wonderful to be able to use a washing machine & tumble dryer to get some clean clothes again. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking, even though we didn't have time to cook. The owner had put in a lot of thought to make us feel welcome & we felt that. The little notes here & there were most helpful - thank you! Location was very good too i.e. less than 10 mins walk to the local High Street. We had our own car & were given a parking permit to use for free parking in front of the property. There was a lovely garden at the back which one of our guests used for her mini meditation sessions to start the day. It was a quiet, residential road with no loud noise or passing traffic which made it very peaceful. We would definitely stay here again if we visited Scotland in the future.

Comfortable and central home with everything you may need

Very comfortable and central. Like a home away from home. My elderly parents loved the appartment as everything was ground floor and very close to the center. There even is a parking permit for street parking in front of the house.

Lovely house in a great location.

This is a really lovely house in an excellent location, definitely in walking distance to the town centre. The beds are really comfortable with great bed linen and good quality towels. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Very comfortable living room and the added bonus of a small garden with somewhere to sit which was nice with our morning coffee. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again on our next visit to Inverness.

A perfect choice for our stay in Inverness

Brilliant location, just a short walk from town. Arrandale is a single storey apartment with no stairs which suited my elderly parents perfectly, as did the walk in shower (not a shower over a bath tub). The property was meticulously clean and furnished in a warm and modern manner. It definitely gave home away from home vibes, which we loved.

Perfect location for a quiet nights rest!

Arrandale was a great location for our stay in Inverness. It was a nice walk to get to the city center areas and also any stores we may have needed during our stay. The house itself was so nicely set up as well. All the basics were right there including a little bit of all the soaps, spices, dishes, towels, etc, that we needed. We even sat in the back yard and enjoyed the birds one evening!

Parking was a little difficult. The road was very busy and we rarely found parking super close. However, the owners had a note of another place to park if we needed it, and we were usually able to find something within a block or two. Otherwise, everything was great! Thank you!

Very comfortable house close to center

Very nice house, fully furnished. The table was set for our arrival which was quite nice. There were also some biscuits, tea, coffee, etc. Crib and high chair were provided assembled, as requested.

Not really a negative, but parking is on the street, not private. We never had an issue finding a spot very close to the door though.

Centrally located ground floor apartment.

Very clean. Washer and dryer were a plus. Nice sized living room .Quiet neighborhood. Complete apartment is ground floor with a step up for the kitchen.

No dedicated parking available. We managed to park on the sidewalk across from the apartment. Narrow street. Bathroom is located off the kitchen. No counter space in bathroom. Very little space for luggage in bedrooms, but large living room and we put some bags there. Mattresses need to be updated.

Perfect, I’d consider staying here again!

Well equipped, very clean, great communication, usb charging ports at most electrical outlets , very accommodating. We’re four mature males on a golf holiday and this worked great for us. The owners set up four beds and that was just great.

Parking on the street is very helpful but sought after by many. Consider parking at the 24hr park about a15 minute walk away. We had a tire that was intentionally stuck in the sidewall ruining our tire which has caused us inconvenience and cost. This is not the owners fault but renters should consider parking elsewhere.

The location was perfect and it was so comfortable and had all the amenities you would need including a fan. It has a great kitchen and a Washer and Dryer. It is decorated so nice and we felt right at home. I can’t say enough good things. There is even a full book about the area and the house as well as clear instructions for everything else.

If I have to say anything, it would be perhaps better quality towels.

Beautifully decorated, comfortable and felt like home. Street parking available. Close to Supermarket and easy access to everything.

The only criticism I would have is that you can hear everything from the upstairs apartment but Grant’s cottage is 10 out of 10

it was good!

it was a nice house but it would have been nice to know that the staff provided 2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 people for 4 days….also no paper towels were provided. We asked for some toilet paper and they were kind enough to bring us some on our last day. The facilities were clean, but the bathroom was on the other end of the house…far away from the bedrooms. They did provide hair dryers for each bedroom and the house was beautifully decorated . We enjoyed our stay… it would have been nice to know ahead that we were to provide the supplies.

The house was very clean and decorated with some artwork so it felt like we were home when we entered. I think the owner did a great job at making this a comfortable place to stay. It was a short walk from the train station and shorter to the shopping and dining area.

A great stay in a lovely city

Great location, comfortable property and nicely equipped. Just a short walk (flat too) to the main parts of the city and the river, and close to a number of take-away establishments, restaurants and grocery stores too. An ideal spot for exploring Inverness.

Wi-Fi - it was very poor (by most modern standards). OK for emails, not up to video calls/streaming. The mobile data reception was fine though, so allowed me to do the (little) work I had to whilst staying, and it wouldn't prevent me returning.

The house is in a great location and so cosy. It had everything we needed. Everything feels brand new, we’d love to come back next time we’re in Inverness. Photos don’t do it justice, it’s beautiful.
