Uncomfortable stay

Location

The accommodation was very loud. There was a door to the flat next door and you can hear people talk like they were next to you. You can’t play any music as everyone can hear. Very bad accustics and uncomfortable bed (two madras that flow apart)

This hotel is located very centrally in Schiedam, close to the main shopping street, restaurants, bars and the big church. For that, it’s very convenient.

The rooms are accessible through an outside staircase. Our room was on the third floor and it was impossible for me to carry my suitcase up to the third floor on those steep stairs. There is nobody present to help you, so this is something to bear in mind. There is only one room on the ground floor. All other rooms are in the second or third floor. We stayed in June and it was 28 degrees. The room was extremely hot and we slept with both the outside door and the window open to get some fresh air but the heat was unbearable and there is no AC. Other guests mentioned the same and said they had not been able to sleep. Breakfast was not included in our rate but we were able to pay extra and have breakfast which was very nice.

Very interesting place for a stay over in Schiedam

The room is very cosy and pretty, despite being very dark. The toilet fact that it had its private toilet was excellent, and a very nice one with shower and everything.

The only down side was that the air becomes very poor, the room could do with some ventilation. But nothing you can't fix by opening the door some minutes.

It is rather out of the city but good hidden away B&B. Breakfast was very basic.

Great location on a quiet street along a canal. very quaint. Breakfast and staff were great.

We stayed in the top floor and the outdoor stairs to get up there were very shallow and slippery since they are exposed in the weather. It made it a little difficult to carry the luggage up. The other thing we didn’t like was that it wasn’t one bed, rather two twin beds pushed together and they were constantly sliding apart on the wood floor if you moved in bed.

The room is beautiful.... bed super comfy. Breakfast was good. Think would stay again in a lower room and prob only 1 night

My room on 2nd floor, accessed by 2 very steep outdoor staircases, not sure i would be able to get a suitcase up. Room not the wuitest: was cold soturned heating on, which then regularly made beepy noises. Fridge also noisy. Then just after i fell asleep 2 neighbouring rooms came in... the doors slammed very loudly.

This place wasn’t a good place for us to stay

Location was good & Breakfast was alright

Most uncomfortable bed. It’s on an incline. My mattress was either too soft or old and collapsed as I kept sliding out of bed. Room was tiny. Keep banging your head. No low level or bedside lighting. We choose this place based on the fact add said they had parking. We had to pay 30 euros for off street parking. I asked for ground floor because of my mobility issues but ended up three flights of cramped and dangerous stairs. I think we must have had the worst room. Very grumpy woman serving breakfast.

It is a very nice stay in a cute town. Would recommend.

The apartment is spacious, you have evertthat you need, nice options if coffee and tee in the room and 2 bottles of water. It is very clean (especially the bathroom), but not perfectly. Breakfast is very nice.

I found some weird staff in drawer and weird hair on the wall next to the bed. I had a room in the first floor and the windows were on the way out for other guests so they were often in front of the windows and I didn’t have a feeling of privacy. I think it was only my room like that.

I was promised a room on the 1st floor but was given on the 2nd floor. There was no lift. The mattress was not quite comfortable. Windows could not be opened but for some 10 cm.

Had a lovely time

The breakfast was lovely, very nice selection. The location was also lovely as it was quiet and was easy to access public transport from.

The decor in the room was quite dark, the B&B was quite difficult to find initially. The heat in the room was also quite heavy.
