Exceptional

Beautiful quiet and peaceful location with wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. Very friendly and kind hosts who provided a complementary small bottle of wine and homemade cake in the room. The room was very well appointed and breakfast (served in the garden) was great. Lots of attention to detail in the decoration throughout the property. Several pretty and cosy outside areas to sit / eat. Great value for money and we were just sad that we had only booked one night as a stopover on a longer journey.

Comfortable cosy room and a very kind host

everything was perfect, including the breakfast in the room. The only downside is the somewhat distant location from the Tröplach millenium express ski lift, but this is clearly indicated in the room description. Moreover, there is a small local skilift, so for families with small kids this skilift could be a good alternative for some small snow fun

The host was super kind, everything was perfect. Room was spacious everything clean. Details in the room were amazing you even had slippers to stay inside the room, Bed was comfortable and also had a bottle of wine for free. Highly recommended.

perfect stay when visiting Carinthia

everything was simply perfect. great size room with all facilities you would need. wonderful breakfast served. such a relaxing place and perfect location to stay when visiting Carinthia. Marianne and Frans are wonderful hosts and were very welcoming. highly recommend staying here.

10 is simply not enough ❤️

I can't find the words to describe our experience in this fairy tale house. It was like that we lived in a house where everything is where it needs to be, for your most comfortable stay and the owners, Marianne and Frans ... Well, you know when someone says "he/she is a realy good person"... Well... That is how we would describe Marianne and Frans. They are kind, warm and so positive, with a great sense for decor, hospitality, an eye for details. This is something more than holidays should look like. This is few step higher in accommodation, services,... we were treated to a genuine display of hospitality. Excellent grade is underrated for this accomodation. 10 is simply not enough 😊 You need to try it for your self. We are checking for new dates, and we are only 30 km away from the Haus Holunder on our way home, but yet we are already planning our return 😊

Exceptional

This was by far the best accommodation we had in Austria, similar to those from Netherlands 😊We stayed 2 nights in the room upstairs. The room was sparkling clean and nicely decorated, house shoes included. Comfy mattress and bed. Complementary red and white wine in the mini-fridge + coffee&tea. Bathroom was very clean, equipped with hair dryer and makeup removal pads (this was a nice surprise). Breakfast was delicious, continental type - fresh baked bread - with homemade jam (black currant and mispeln). Good coffee ☕️. One morning we had breakfast in the yard, but on the last day we had to eat on the terrace because it started to rain. The owners are super friendly, they recommended a restaurant with great Austrian specialties. We also received a welcoming home made snaps - grapes and mispeln/orange. We added the B&B on the favorites list and we will definitely go back again 🥰

Wunderschönes Studio

Wir wurden von den Gastgebern sehr herzlich in Empfang genommen. Das Studio ist wunderschön und liebevoll eingerichtet. Ein tolles Frühstück mit köstlicher, selbst gemachter Marmelade wurde auf der Terrasse serviert. Wir waren leider nur zwei Nächte dort und kommen sehr gerne wieder! Vielen Dank!
