Beautiful location on Weißensee - very cosy, nice home-like place

very central in Techendorf, a shop nearby and some restaurants in easy walking distance. Hiking can be started from the house and the starting point of the beautiful boat-tour on Weißensee is close, the bridge over the lake in easy walking distance. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Staying in their nice garden is possible and the private beach in 5-10 min walk is a perfect benefit!

The bed would be more comfortable if the mattresses were harder, our backs prefer harder mattresses, but besides this it was great - we had a perfect stay!

Excellent location and wonderful lake access with paddleboards and boat. Heide and Peter were perfect hosts. We will come again!

1. Excellent location, in the center 2. Very kind hosts - attention : only German speaking (no English). But, we managed German, English, French too 3. Enough facilities for the room. We had a studio with kitchenette. Enough clean rooms. 4. "Private beach" or "Shore of the lake" is for guests and hosts and have some water facilities included(sun chairs and umbrella,water board,... - in fact for 5 nights we paid 17 Eur as tax for "SPA" 5. Lake water was enough warm (21 degree in July 20th ) 6. Many Germans (from Germany) are coming from long time here, also some high Booking notes of 10 could be given by them.But, it is nice the photo of one big family (hosts and guests).

1. Weak Wi-fi : Not for a maximum note as I saw in reviews. It is slow always from the room and during evening and morning. Even during the lunch, the speed increase but not significantly. Attention : this does not work with laptop and Windows 10 Professional due to the old security settings. Working only with the phone/tablet/... 2. Private beach : it is on almost 600-700 m not to 400 m like in description. See the picture attached. In some periods, there is family of the host keeping busy sunny chairs and place and the guests are somehow isolated. But, we are flexible and found other attractions in the zone. 3. Bed mattress is quite old and uncomfortable, but enough ok for us 4. Spider webs on the windows (bedroom and dinning room) - for who has allergy/phobia - Not a problem for us although - photo attached 5. Enough obsolete interior with old wood and bedroom as well . But, still not a problem for us
