The house is suitable for 4 people. A small children's bed and a single bed are available in the children's room. The master bedroom has a double bed. When booking additional people, the guest bed in the TV room and / or the 2 sofas in the living room can also be used (max. Number including children: 7)

Högsby is a wonderful place in the center of Smaland. From here you can visit the archipelago in Oskarsham and Västervik. Walk around Aboda Klint and eat a delicious cake. In Berga at the corner cafe, drink wonderful coffee and tea at the weekend and browse the flea market or jump across the campsite from the 10-meter tower into a wonderfully clear lake. The glassblowers are not far, and neither is the Elk Park. Stockholm by car is about 3 1/2 hours away. But there is also a train. Vimmerby with its charming houses and Astrid Lindgren Värld are 45 minutes away. Kalmar 45 minutes, Öland 1 hour. Several lakes are in the area (each about 10-20 minutes away by car). This house is an old mansion that was built in 1936. The charm of this house can be felt everywhere. However, please note when booking that it is an old house, i. H. the rooms have been renovated, but you still have to like the charm of old houses and forego luxury. Here the dishes have to be washed by hand, and you feel comfortable when you love the simple Swedish life. Nevertheless, there is no need for a toilet, shower, stove or similar. be dispensed with, as our house is on the outskirts of Högsby, with all the advantages of a village / city connection with water, electricity, etc. Anyone who loves Swedish life and dreams of Astrid Lindgren's childhood will feel very comfortable here.

Our house is so central to everything you want to see. Astrid Lindgren Värld for the little ones in Vimmerby, Oskarshamn for a trip to the archipelago, approx. 8 lakes in the immediate vicinity, the Kingdom of Crystal, the moose park, etc. etc. And what could be nicer than lying in a hammock in the garden after a day like this, relaxing and having breakfast outside in the sun the next morning?
