Pula city center apartments

The property was as pictured. It was very spacious and perfect for a couple to stay for the week. Aircon in kitchen/living area was great, as well as the addition of equipment like a coffee machine, kettle, toastie maker and ice machine. There was also a hob, microwave and fridge. TV was good and could log into Netflix/youtube etc. Bathroom has a small washing machine in there which was really handy. Brilliant location very close to the city centre, so easy to go out for dinner and drinks, as well as exploring the city’s attractions. 30 min walk to the closest beach, or a short Uber ride to others, which were relatively inexpensive so didn’t mind getting an Uber. Host was extremely hospitable and friendly, he was available at all times over WhatsApp and he was very helpful. Didn’t hear any noise from other residents.

The wardrobe door got stuck so spent an hour trying to get into it as the host was away (public holiday) and we didn’t want to break it, so beware of this! No aircon or fan in the bedroom so was extremely hot despite having shutters and windows closed all day to keep hot air/sun out. Bed is 2 single mattresses put together with a double fitted sheet, and 2 single bedsheets on top. This wasn’t a huge issue for us and was quite nice to have our own sheets! But may be an issue for some. No oven/freezer but we got on fine just using the other kitchen amenities and eating out too. Wasn’t any outdoor waste bins/wasn’t sure where to put them, so we ended up having waste bags sat in the kitchen as we did eat in 50% of the time, and the host couldn’t tell us where to put them. Perhaps they must be taken to a tip but wasn’t clear. On the last night it was very noisy outside, but Croatia had just won a football game and it was Saturday night, so didn’t get much sleep but think it was just a one off occurrence, or only at weekends when lots of people are out. Overall very minor issues that didn’t ruin our stay.
