About this house rental

Newly renovated holiday flat (2016) in an old, typical Oberland house. Rural surroundings, 850 metres above sea level.

The spacious eat-in kitchen with dining table offers plenty of room. There is also a wood-burning stove, which you fire with wood in winter. This also provides the stove in the living room with heat.

The 3 1/2 rooms are functionally furnished. Living room with sofa, sideboard and stove. Bedroom with double bed and spacious double wardrobe. A small room with bunk bed (only suitable for children) and wardrobe.

The holiday flat is ideal for a family with 2 children (bunk bed)

There is a bench in front of the house. A table with chairs, deckchairs and parasol are at your disposal. There is also a small barbecue.

The house is surrounded by meadows and is situated above the village in a quiet and sunny location. Hiking in summer, skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing are possible from the front door if there is enough snow.

You will be welcomed by the landlady, who will familiarise you with the holiday flat, and in the winter months you will be shown how to heat the storage stove.
A later check-in time than 6 pm is not possible for organisational reasons.
Earlier check-in than 3 pm on request.

Excursion possibilities: Oeschinensee, Blausee, Elsigenalp, Engstligenalp, Adelboden, Kandersteg etc.

Kitchen equipment: Espresso machine with coffee capsules "delizio" can be found in the Migros (in the village). You can also use the brewing machine with instant coffee.

Location description: Frutigen lies in the Bernese Oberland between Speiz and Kandersteg/Adelboden.
Ideal starting point for hikes, mountain and snow tours, alpine and sport climbing, snow sports in winter.

In 15 minutes by car you are on the A8 motorway with connections to Thun, Bern, Interlaken, Lucerne and other destinations in Switzerland.

Shopping facilities and restaurants can be reached in 1km (10min. on foot). The well-known summer and winter sports area Adelboden/Lenk can be reached in 20min. by car. Also easily accessible by public transport. Next bus stop reachable in 10min.
