About this apartment rental
Located in the historic center and all 200 meters away from the Market Hall as seen from the Place de Verdun (the central bus station for the city buses as the buses on the Ile de Ré), our one bedroom apartment is located (35 m2 + 12 m2 terrace ) in close proximity to restaurants, shops, the park, the old port and museums. It is suitable for up to 2 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. Minimum stay: 3 nights.
Those arriving by car will take place in close (400 m) away Chemin du Rempart free parking. Before the apartment itself there is no parking.
If you come by train, reached the apartment has a 15-20-minute walk past the old harbor and across the historic center. Otherwise the bus.
Equipment: double bedroom for 2 people (1.40m / 2.00m) + convertible sofa in the living room for 1 adult or 2 children; Kitchenette, bathroom with shower, separate toilet, washing machine, television, WiFi
Prices:
July / August: 500,00 / week; € 75.00 / night
Last week of August and French school holidays: € 450.00 / week; € 70.00 / night
Low season: 400,00 / week; 65.00 € / night
Charges per stay linen / towels (20,00 € / 2persons) and final cleaning (45,00 €)
In addition, the city of La Rochelle will charge an extra tax of 0.83 € / person / night, which has to be paid to the landlord.

Christiane is a very good host, accessible and helpful. The apartment is small but very well equipped. Slept like a log bed was very comfortable and sofa bed was brand new. Hob and oven small but work perfectly well. Large quiet airy terrace; Apartment is on quiet shopping street with Carrefour within 100 mmetres. Market hall is 5 mins away and is super. Full on street market Wednesday and Saturday is worth going to. Vieux port is about 15 mins walk away thru good quality shopping streets. Definitely not a property for more than a couple but excellent location and great value, John

Lovely little apartment in centre of town - easy walking distance to everything .
Was so glad of the outside space and shade it gave us -as we visited during an official heat wave !
Bruno met us at the property and gave us the keys and was friendly and helpful.
Carrefour city at the end of the road and three minutes walk from the daily market where my partner went every morning for fresh pastries.

This property was in a great location for all that La Rochelle has to offer. The apartment was ok but the bed was too big for the size of the bedroom - I kept knocking my legs on the bed ends! The shower was tiny but adequate as was the kitchen. The overall cleanliness left a lot to be desired however the bed linen was freshly laundered. I would rate the apartment as average but the cost was probably reflective of the great location.
