Nothing its like student accommodation.

Absolutely deceiving and not as per the advertised on the site. It was noisy, smelly, dirty, filthy beddings. I had no hot water, there is no reception when you enter. No refunds :( Wish I took pictures of the place of broken toilet seat!

An apartment where there is a lot of mold, even in the washing machine.

Day, when we leaving the property. Because I lived in the apartment with my daughter and granddaughters, one of them has skin problems, and when they had to breathe mold from the walls all night, it was terrible. Upon my complaint, the manager of the apartment moved us to another one that wasn't moldy and didn't leak water, but still. I am disappointed that Booking.com offers such accommodation. Because now I won't be 100% sure about the quality of accommodation.

the apartment was very neglected, I have no idea when was the last hygiene check and when was the last time the apartment was maintained. An apartment where there is a lot of mold, even in the washing machine. When it rains, water flows through the walls into the room. Balcony full of water. And finally, a completely different apartment than the photos on booking.com. Total fraud. A professional site like booking.com should not offer such moldy accommodation.

Great apartment for a family trip

Very clean and well equipped. Staff were very attentive and dealt with a very minor issue very quickly. Central location, close to some fantastic places to eat and great transport links. The kitchen was well equipped and it was nice to have a decent sized living space too.

The floors were really warm and, due to the location, opening windows meant it was quite noisy with traffic noise at night.

Good sleep!

Located right in the city center and close to the railway station, but yet still quite (at the backside of the building). The apartment was equipped with everything required. Even a bath with jet stream was included. All was clean and neat. The bed slept very good.

It was inconvenient that the indoor doors closed out of themselves. Not very practical when walking with your suitcase.

It was a very comfortable stay and we really felt at home for 12 days. Would love to be back again.

We loved the location and had the entire 2-bedroom apartment to ourselves. Kitchen was well equipped with all the essentials. Even though we didn’t have balcony but Juliet door was enough for fresh air and ventilation.Another great thing about this place was that it had 2 full bathrooms which is a rare commodity to find in England. Added Bonus was being able to log-in to our Netflix account. Our host Jay was exceptionally through and explained everything in detail and answered all our queries .

Bathrooms could have been cleaner. There were cobwebs on the ceiling of one and dust around the corners of the floor. One bathroom door wouldn’t shut completely so we weren’t able to lock it and opening and closing the door was a struggle. Having a mesh colander in the kitchen would have been ideal for rice and pasta draining.

OK - Disappointing Facilities

We booked a 2 night stay in a 2 bed family apartment. Jay was friendly and provided good customer service, he called us a couple of weeks before the booking and explained the check in process and gave us advice about current Covid restrictions. Jay also called the day if check in and helped us with the collection of keys as we were coming around 8pm. We didn’t organise parking in advance (car park is quite small, fits 3-4 cars) so had to pay for on street parking but Jay advised of nearby car parks too which were cheaper. Customer service was good, location was good & entertainment facilities (TV, Roku, Netflix, Wi-Fi)

The apartment was fairly clean however cobwebs were visible dropping from the ceilings as well as in corners of windows (see image) The first night the fire alarm went off around 00:30 and the whole building had to evacuate, a resident advised this occurred a couple of weeks back also and was a fault on the 3rd floor hallway alarm (as advised by the fire brigade) I let Jay know of this the next day as we spent 30 mins outside in the cold whilst the fire brigade checked the building. I hope this gets sorted soon! The facilities were unfortunately dissapointing. The washing machine handle was missing and broken (see image), the dishwasher had red lights flashing and wouldn’t turn on. I reported this to Jay on check-out. The en-suite bathroom shower doors are not secured to the shower base properly and can be swung inwards (see image) unfortunately this caused an injury to my mum who was trying to close the shower doors. I reported this to Jay on check-out. This issue is quite a health & safety concern. The main family bathroom shower tap is not fitted correctly and has come loose, it’s difficult to get the right amount of water at the right temperature with this tap. I reported this to Jay on check-out. The door to the family bathroom is also very stiff and you have to put a lot of effort for it to line up to lock and unlock. The smoke alarm backup battery is low in the flat hallway so was chirping away all night. Unfortunately we didn’t get a discount for the issues mentioned as we booked using Booking.com rather than booking directly.
