Close proximity to the city
The cleaning service is provided only on a weekly basis. It would be nice if they could do it more frequently.

Very clean and well equipped. Staff were very attentive and dealt with a very minor issue very quickly. Central location, close to some fantastic places to eat and great transport links. The kitchen was well equipped and it was nice to have a decent sized living space too.
The floors were really warm and, due to the location, opening windows meant it was quite noisy with traffic noise at night.

We booked a 2 night stay in a 2 bed family apartment. Jay was friendly and provided good customer service, he called us a couple of weeks before the booking and explained the check in process and gave us advice about current Covid restrictions. Jay also called the day if check in and helped us with the collection of keys as we were coming around 8pm.
We didn’t organise parking in advance (car park is quite small, fits 3-4 cars) so had to pay for on street parking but Jay advised of nearby car parks too which were cheaper.
Customer service was good, location was good & entertainment facilities (TV, Roku, Netflix, Wi-Fi)
The apartment was fairly clean however cobwebs were visible dropping from the ceilings as well as in corners of windows (see image)
The first night the fire alarm went off around 00:30 and the whole building had to evacuate, a resident advised this occurred a couple of weeks back also and was a fault on the 3rd floor hallway alarm (as advised by the fire brigade) I let Jay know of this the next day as we spent 30 mins outside in the cold whilst the fire brigade checked the building. I hope this gets sorted soon!
The facilities were unfortunately dissapointing. The washing machine handle was missing and broken (see image), the dishwasher had red lights flashing and wouldn’t turn on. I reported this to Jay on check-out.
The en-suite bathroom shower doors are not secured to the shower base properly and can be swung inwards (see image) unfortunately this caused an injury to my mum who was trying to close the shower doors. I reported this to Jay on check-out. This issue is quite a health & safety concern.
The main family bathroom shower tap is not fitted correctly and has come loose, it’s difficult to get the right amount of water at the right temperature with this tap. I reported this to Jay on check-out.
The door to the family bathroom is also very stiff and you have to put a lot of effort for it to line up to lock and unlock.
The smoke alarm backup battery is low in the flat hallway so was chirping away all night.
Unfortunately we didn’t get a discount for the issues mentioned as we booked using Booking.com rather than booking directly.
