L’emplacement avec bord de mer. Maison très agréable avec jardin avec transats et douche solaire pour profiter des bains de soleil. La réactivité de Matteo est très appréciable.
Le manque d’équipement de cuisine et de couverts pour une famille de 8 personnes. Et la mauvaise insonorisation d’avec l’étage supérieur.

This is a fabulous location, and it is wonderful to step from the garden to the beach for a swim. You need beach shoes to get in to the water, and this should be stated in the house information - the beach is large pebbles and extend fully in to the sea. There are also lots of sea urchins, so the shoes are very much needed. The water is shallow for quite a distance - helpful for children, not so helpful for swimmers. There were plenty of options for eating outside, and we loved the outdoor kitchen. It's lovely to have such a green garden, full of birdsong. Popping out to watch sunset was also a delight. The beach, even in August, is pretty much completely empty, so it feels like a huge private salty swimming pool. It is an interesting place to snorkel.
The house feels in need of a bit of an update, the towels for example were "well used" to say the least, and it felt as though there was only just enough in terms of cutlery for the house size. The two smaller bedrooms are actually quite tight for size - we had to move the beds to close the door! There were not enough coffee mugs (Brits like a mug of coffee not just an espresso!) or breakfast size bowls. You do have to use a lot of bottled water due to the water being pumped from a local water source. The upper level of the house is let separately, which we were aware of - the frustration with that was that the other family didn't always lock the gate (main access) in the correct way, meaning that we couldn't unlock it on our return (with the beach gate also locked it meant scrambling over the wall). This is something that needs sorting out.
