The best apartment to stay.

I was thoroughly impressed by the host’s proactive communication; they provided all the details—key access, parking instructions, and more—well in advance. The walk from the parking spot to the apartment took barely three minutes. The place itself was immaculate and fully stocked with everything from coffee to fresh linens. Honestly, this was one of my most comfortable stays ever. The location is unbeatable—step outside, and you’re right in the heart of the city.

A great find in the centre of the city. Clean, well-equipped and comfortable.

Great location. Flat was clean and super well-equipped. Very comfy bed too. Flat had everything you could possibly need (and loads more) for a one-night stay. Would have happily stayed longer. Host was great at communicating and very responsive. Parking 100 m away in a secure public car park.

Access to the flat is up two flights of a fairly narrow winding wooden staircase which proved tricky for us with our bags and dogs. Might be fine for most people though.

Find somewhere else

The location was good near the old town and the apartment was clean.

In order to access the apartment we had to carry our luggage up a steep spiral staircase which was unexpected. Additionally, the front door to the apartment wouldn't lock and the owner only provided the code for access at a very late stage. Compared to other apartments that we have stayed in we felt that the property was tired.

Exceptional

Perfect accommodation for discovering the amazing city of Troyes. Comfortable, everything you need, clean. Close to shops,restaurants, supermarkets, patisseries, and amazing streets, lanes, public spaces,and gardens of the inner-city. Secure public parking close to the apartment.

To be totally objective, the spiral staircase was a bit of a challenge with luggage but if travelling light would not present a problem.

The location in the Troyes City Center was great. The appartment was clean and there's a Nespresso with cups

The apartment and the building are very dated, the hall is dusty and dates from the 1970s-1980s (if not earlier). The apartment looks better on the pictures than in reality. To be honest we found it overpriced at 150 euro's per night for the experience we got.

Location is superb. Easy access to apartment. Kitchen fully (!) equipped and with many additional snacks. Very spacious accommodation for family of 4.

Although it was very clean, the floor felt a little sticky. The sofa bed is only suitable for small children, wouldn’t recommend it for adults. The apartment was very hot and humid, the fans in each room did not help.

Right in the city centre, close to all shops and attractions, very convenient underground parking nearby. Beautiful room, super clean and decorated with taste.

It's an old building, so it can get quite warm in the apartment on a very hot day

Situation

It was cold in the evenings, the owner left a note saying not to touch the heaters but would have slimed instructions how to make it warmer. The stairs. Unfortunately I struggle with stairs I can see through. But this is just personal to me !!

Comfortable and well-appointed apartment, centrally location in a beautiful town

The apartment was very clean and spacious and had all the amenities needed for our stay.

No significant issues - parking was a challenge, but you expect that in a central location.

Convenient and central.

The property was a nice size for two people, had a great location, was close to parking (advice for others: aim for the ‘cathedrale’ parking: the owner lists a rather confusing number of parking places for those who don’t know the city). The bedroom overlooked an overgrown but quiet inner courtyard which meant that you can have a good night’s sleep. I found the mattress to be comfy but it was too hard for my husband. The WiFi was fine, the apartment was next to a boulangerie and close to restaurants. The owner, Christophe, messaged me ahead of time; we arranged a rendezvous. He was there on time and helped me with luggage up to the apartment. So all good. Top tip for the Troyes traveller: there is the best chocolate stall in the entire world in Les Halles.

The kitchen lacked a sharp knife for preparing vegetables. The oven was very basic. The decor was cheap in places (plastic flowers) and the apartment had been fitted out rather cheaply. But it was fine overall, though rather expensive for what it was.

Very easy to collect the keys. The apartment was clean and had everything that we required. Very central location.

Two of us slept on the pull out sofa in the front room. There was quite a lot of noise throughout the night from the street directly outside.
