About this cottage rental
Cottage #225 is a duplex unit. The entrance of cottage 225 leads you into the beautifully decorated porch lounge area furnished with a plush sectional, ottomans, side tables, lamps, ceiling fan, and flat screen TV. Through the sliding doors you will enter into the open concept living/dining room area. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher, and a counter-top flat screen TV. The dining area provides seating for 4 and the living room area provides a cozy chaise sectional. Just past the kitchen is the bathroom and a closet where the stackable washer/dryer is housed. The bathroom is full size with a stand up shower and will be fully furnished for your use! Beyond that is the rear exit where the outdoor entertaining area is equipped with outdoor umbrella, table, and grill ! You will definitely feel like you're in the Maine woods in this nice, private, wooded backyard! In both bedrooms, enjoy the plush queen size bed beneath the soothing breeze of the ceiling fan. Each bedroom also has a wall mounted flat screen tv, as shown in the pictures! 4 ppl MAX -- This cottage accommodates parties of 4 people maximum * Amenities are not open during winter season ***No smoking, No Pets! ***Pools and Hot tub will be available as of memorial weekend. Clubhouse amenities including gym, library, games (courts), shuffleboard, and Sandbar will be available starting May 1st (Sandbar is weekends only). Sandbar schedule is subject to change. Ask the front desk for the current schedule when booking. *During peak season (June 18th - August 20th) cottage rentals require a 7-night rental, from Saturday to Saturday. Anytime outside of peak season, there is only a 2-night minimum to book. Disclaimer: Please note that all 3 season cottages and 4 season cottages have a sunroom that is not heated. During the colder months of September-May, it may be chilly in the sunroom/t.v. room, we want to advise you of this as we do not provide extra heating. All 4 season cottages will only be 4-person in the winter months.

This is a 4 seasons cottage. It is in a prime location, within walking distance from the family pool. This cottage sleeps a max of 4 people. Disclaimer: The clubhouse at Seaglass is strictly 18+, we do have a lovely family pool area at the front of the facility. Thank you

Great location for a Maine vacation. The parking spot was a little tight if you have an SUV or Truck but you can make it work! Big cottage with a good amount of room for 2 adults and a toddler. The beds were stiff so if you have a bad back, maybe bring a topper with you. My only complaint was the check in process. We did not receive an email the morning of check in. I called the rental office and asked how the check in process works if we’re arriving after 4pm. The woman I spoke with acted like I was being an inconvenience asking questions but we received no check in details via email like we were told we would the previous day. The next day, we went to the office to check in, we were told to walk up to the clubhouse. My toddler son and I did, 5k steps later we made it, to then see the same woman offer to drive her golf cart down to check in another couple. For some reason guests who booked from Vrbo are treated differently.

The place was as depicted. Centrally located in Wells near all. It was well and nicely furnished. Quiet. Just right for a family. However—-the beds were rock hard. Like sleeping on a wooden slab. The family pool is weirdly kept at a temperature that is hotter than a bath tub. Literally like a hot tub. Unfortunately, one of the reasons we chose the place was because we always love to take a dip in a cool pool after coming back from the hot beach. It was so hot—not warm—HOT—that it couldn’t possibly be chlorinated correctly. It just totally turned us off. As for the place itself, there were some things that didn’t work as well. First of all—even though there are two bedrooms there is only one closet in the whole place and one of the doors were jammed so it’s really more like a half a closet. There was just not enough places to put our clothes and things for a week’s stay. And while it advertised a stocked kitchen and bath—we were given two toilet paper rolls for a whole week as a family and ONE garbage bag. All weirdly set out in a basket on a table. And for our family of three only two sets of towels. To top it off—in the bathroom there’s this light that comes on in the middle of the night that isn’t connected to a switch. It’s just randomly on and then randomly off. We searched the place and couldn’t figure out where the heck a switch was. Overall, the place served our purpose—but the “quirks” will make it so we don’t return.

It is the perfect place to stay to see the Beach. Local sights and great restaurants. Near the turnpike so you can go south or north to enjoy more of the area.
