About this cottage rental

A quaint little cottage with two bedrooms and two baths(one shower/no tub). Double lot with a lake view. There is a great area for campfires and relaxing in the evenings. Walking distance to activities like putter golf, roller skating, a beach with a water slide, Happi Jax's ice cream, the Frog Pond restaurant, brewery nearby, and the local beer distributor. A gas grill is provided for your outdoor grilling needs!

The lake provides a great opportunity for swimming and boating. The rental includes the use of two kayaks.

The kitchen is fully equipment. The dishwasher is a portable unit.

There are games and DVDs.

There is no cable TV or internet. However, both Verizon and AT&T have very good coverage for your mobile devices.

Presque Isle State Park, Waldameer Amusement Park, Splash Lagoon, golf, and many other activities are within driving distance.

Other seasonal activities include hiking, skiing, ice fishing, and hunting. The northeast wine trail, the conneate lake winery, and many local breweries and meaderies are located nearby.

There is public park(Ruggles Park) located within walking distance, allowing open play area and soon to have children's swings and a beach area.

We loved our cozy lake cottage with a view of the lake. The weather was cold and rainy most of the time we were there but the cottage was so warm and comfortable. Kind of like being at Grandma's house with the quaint decor! The kitchen is complete with everything you need to cook a meal. The beds are comfortable too. We were sad to leave and hope we will be able to go back soon when the weather is nice and we can enjoy the lake life. If we had to be inside most of the time we glad we were at the cottage.

Nice clean property in Canadohtha Lake near Ruggles park. The unit is well stocked with everything you need and is in a great location with a short walk or bike ride around the lake. Most cabins in the area are on well water. This cabin has a water filter which is a great amenity for drinking, cooking and bathing. We only used it to sleep in each night and spent most of our time at a friends cabin. Definitely a bonus being allowed to have our small dog stay with us. Would recommend to other renters.

The cottage is comfy, cozy and clean. It is also the perfect location- close to everything. It is right next to Ruggles Park. We tried kayaking for the first time and loved it! We also fished from the dock. You can walk to Happy Jax for ice cream or food. This was our second time coming to Ted and Kay’s and loved making more memories!

Had no idea what we were doing, but all worked out fantastic. Able to cook all of our meals. We were not sure if their would be a grill, so we had alternate plans. Took a while to find the TV remote (never did find DVR remote). Beds and couches were super comfortable. Loved the downstairs bathroom. It was a big plus to have a public park across the street. Wonderful place, fantastically magical Eclipse. Thank you for all. Hope to make it back sometime.

Very nice cabin. Perfect location for a family wedding we were attending. Cabin is very close to the lake. We did not have much time to explore the area, but would visit again. Judy and Vince were very helpful and accommodating. They have done a lot of work to make the cabin cozy and comfortable.

This was a great place to stay. We were back in NW PA for a class reunion and this house was convenient to a lot of places. The view from the porch and the fire pit were great. House is cozy and well kept. The pontoon boat was a lot of fun and Judy was helpful with all our questions. My only regret is not booking a longer vacation!

The house is quaint and cozy, with a lot of areas for the family to enjoy, from watching the sunset from the front porch, relaxing to the sounds of rain on the back porch, making s’mores at the fire pit at night. Loved the spa like shower! It was so much fun spending the days on the lake on the pontoon and kayaking into the the sunrise. I specifically enjoyed watching my teenager’s face when she realized there was no Wi-Fi! At the end she didn’t even miss it! Thank you Judy and Vince for the wonderful setup.

Quaint and comfy cottage perfect for those looking to get away from technology. Beautiful lake views, peaceful surroundings, (mostly) friendly neighbors/locals, and lots of activities to choose from close to the rental. My teens went thru phone/wifi withdrawal, it got a little warm downstairs some afternoon/evenings, and the bedroom AC units were very loud but those were the only downsides to this great lake-adjacent location. We enjoyed having a fire in the evenings, using the kayaks on the little lake and even took the pontoon boat out a couple times. Going for ice cream at Happy Jax was a highlight of our evenings and Rachels BBQ was a great place for dinner. We took a day trip to Presque Isle State Park which was only about an hour away and that was breathtakingly beautiful.

A very bad storm had knocked out the power before we arrived. Judy and Vince were there with matches and candles for us within ten minutes of our arrival, even though they themselves were without power. Everything was so nice-the hosts, property, boat, area. Thank you so much for a relaxing trip!

Despite a bad forecast of rain it turned out to be pretty nice! The cottage is so cute and has just enough room to not feel crowded. We loved the boat access and went out several times to swim and fish. The area is nice and quiet with some cute little stores and food places.

This is a very sweet little cottage that has everything you need to sit back, relax, and enjoy a weekend getaway or vacation with family &/or friends. All you need to bring is your clothes, bathing items, and food...basically everything else you need is already there ! A beautiful view of Canadota Lake from the front porch, the kitchen window, and the firepit area ! It includes a pontoon boat & kayaks available for use, however, we didn't use these so I can't give an impression on them. The neighbors are friendly. The reservation, check in & out process was very simple. We would highly recommend this adorable little gem by the lake ! Thank you for sharing the property with our family...even the dog enjoyed the weekend getaway ! 🙂

The location by the Lake was perfect for relaxing during our Winter getaway. The inside had plenty of places to sit & we watched a lot of movies. The bed was comfortable. It was close to many places to eat & we enjoyed driving around the area. It was quiet during the Winter but l bet the Summer is full of activities on the water. Beautiful Lake House; definitely book it!
