The room was incredibly spacious, with a comfortable main bed. The decorations were quirky, with each room having a different theme to it (we stayed in the 'Flight Room' with a big suspended aeroplane hanging from the ceiling). The shower had a good temperature, and had waterfall and regular shower head options. The room felt bright during the day, and had a kitchenette with a kettle, toaster and microwave, as well as a small fridge.
There was a common room with books and games, as well as an honesty jar for buying alcoholic drinks or bottled water. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to try out the pool during to the weather and our busy itinerary, but it looked like a well-maintained and relaxing space.
The hosts were very responsive, and gave recommendations about restaurants and attractions in Porto.
While it wasn't necessarily a big problem for the time of year we visited, the air conditioning seemed to be broken, as was the main entrance door to the building.
The accommodation was a little further out from the centre of town, but only about a 10-min walk to a metro station.

Close proximity to the city centre is very nice. Comfortable bed. Good use of space. Good communication from the host and a possibility to check in slightly early. Nice front market outside on the square. Nice themes of the rooms, like Sport, Luggage,…
Improvements could be done to have a drying rack for the dishes, kitchen towels (paper), kitchen cloth (more than one), repair the fridge as the freezer section is not functional.

The door code system works well. The pool area is a nice bonus.
The room smelled VERY strongly of cleaning products, which was pretty unpleasant especially on the first day. The bed is not very comfortable so staying more than a few days would mean a sore back!
