The room was small but perfectly formed and had everything we needed for our overnight stay. The bed was comfortable, the staff were friendly, professional and accommodating, the in room incidentals were exceptionally well stocked and the location is fantastic, directly across the road from King's Cross St Pancras.
It was a bit expensive but we did book on the day due to the host of our originally booked room cancelling on us 40 minutes before check in, so booking last minute we expected to have to pay a bit more.

One of my favourite properties in London. Great food and drink options with the property, attracts a really fun, cool crowd. Rooms all have a lot of character (but still on the right side of tasteful!)
Staff can often be quite unhelpful / inexperienced. I've stayed at the property a few times now and I get the feeling I know the property better than some of the staff themselves (e.g. staff were unable to answer basic queries about a room's features).

The location
That the toilet and shower facilities were separate. The breakfast was very poor - no cereal, no toast (well none offered). I asked for scrambled eggs and they came with some Dort of garlic dressing on top. Not a thing I would expect at breakfast. So all I ended having was some fruit (selection again poor) and tea

I love the building, and the style. I liked the restaurant (library), and the shower was really great!
I thought for the money it didn't match the quality it should have
