De Nathai Private Pool Villa

Exceptional Villa and Outstanding Host Our stay at this villa was truly exceptional. The property was exactly as pictured and accurately represented in the Booking.com listing, which was wonderful to experience. Our host was there to welcome us personally on arrival, which gave us a lovely first impression. He was always readily available throughout our stay and was never too far away should we need anything. Communication was excellent, and whenever we contacted him with a question or request, he was incredibly responsive and always willing to assist. We also appreciated the complimentary one-way daily shuttle to the beach, which was a fantastic added convenience. The villa itself was beautiful and extremely spacious. Every bedroom had its own en-suite bathroom, and the rooms were comfortable and well appointed. The pool area had plenty of loungers, as well as a lovely outdoor dining and relaxation area. One of the bedrooms even opened directly onto the pool, which was such a special feature. The outdoor cooking area at the back of the villa was also perfect for our group. We could prepare our meals together and then sit around the dining table enjoying dinner and each other's company when we weren't out exploring. One of our favourite memories was making Cape Malay koeksisters, a traditional South African sweet treat. We needed some extra sugar for the syrup and also found ourselves needing more sugar for our tea and coffee — our group were definitely enthusiastic tea and coffee drinkers! 😂 When our host came by with the sugar, he was curious about what we were making. We invited him to come back and try some when they were ready, and he happily returned to collect some to share with his family. It was such a lovely, genuine interaction and really reflected the warmth and hospitality we experienced throughout our stay. An exceptional villa, a fantastic host and a truly memorable stay.

We had everything, even a spa next to the villa.

Cosy and comfortable. The hosts were extremely accomodating, helpful and friendly. They provided airport transfers and one trip to Aonang every day. They can also arrange private trips for island hopping.

Quite a distance from aonang. It is on its own so don’t expect to be able to walk to a bunch of shops or to the beach.
