Comfortable, warm, cosy , and felt fantastic

Great value for money, lovely place perfect for us not far from Beach. Beautiful Village lots of coffee shops and restaurants. Hosts Al & Jan couldn't do enough for you, and the Northern hospitality was 100% stop on. We be returning again definitely 5* from us

Peaceful retreat

Our hosts were very welcoming. They were on hand if needed. We had total privacy during our stay. The accommodation was perfect with access to a lovely tranquil garden. Would definitely use again! Highly recommended 👌

A short but very nice stay in Crosby / Liverpool.

The hosts Allan and Jan are a very nice couple who took care of us very well, gave us a lot of tips of restaurants, bars, and sightseeing.

In a good location for Crosby, Liverpool and Aintree Races. We had a garden view bedroom with private shower and use of lounge and dining room. Al and Jan spoilt us!

Home from home

We've just had a lovely relaxing stay here. Al and Jan made us feel so welcome. Besides the bedroom which opens into a fabulous garden, there's a dining room, a lounge with tv (plus netflix) and a superb wet room. Off road parking. A home from home in a peaceful location. Close to amenities. Train station within walking distance too. 😊

All and Janice were excellent hosts, discreet but but always helpful if you need any help or information, we had a nice chat in one evening. The place is clean and spacious. Allan made a very good breakfast. I’ ll be visiting again if I’ ll return to Liverpool.

Unbelievable! What an amazing experience! Straight to our heart! Warm hosts! We felt like we were in our mother's or grandmother's house, with delicious breakfast prepared every morning. No words to describe how clean, bright and warm our room + bathroom and the house were. We would go back in a minute to their house.

Great hosts very welcoming. The bedroom was large and had French doors onto the enclosed garden. The bathroom/wet room was huge with a brilliant shower. Self service breakfast with loads of choice.

A cordial stay.

Al and Jan were the most gracious of hosts. Warm and welcoming but above all else considerate and kind. I would happily stay again. Upon my arrival I was greeted with a smile and with a great recommendation for a barber shop. Privacy was respected but the conversations were always interesting and natural. Tha k you kindly for making my stay so enjoyable, Al and Jan :).

The room was quiet. The shower was fabulous. Easy to find. The hosts' Alan and Jan were very helpful. I had travelled a long distance and the hosts made me some tea when I arrived which was a nice touch. The hosts were knowledgeable about the area.

Extremely clean. Very confortable. Perfectly equipped. We had all what we need (even more!). Nice room, spacious, with sweet garden view and direct access to it. Big (and super clean) bathroom. Everything is perfectly maintained and in good condition. Very calm, pleasant and safe area, only a few minutes away (by walk) from the beach. Direct and easy bus connection to the city center. Allan and Jan, a very nice couple, are great hosts. Extremely helpful and taking very good care of everything. Absolutely worth the money and very definitely THE spot to stay in the city.

A great weekend with hosts who were fully involved to help make our stay as good as possible.

Extremely friendly hosts, keen to assist with getting about, recommendations etc and very keen for us to use the shared facilities ie living areas and kitchen. Excellent location for our weekend, a couple of miles from Aintree motor circuit and just under a mile from Crosby beach.

Friendly and welcoming hosts Al and Jan made me feel at home immediately. The bedroom was on the ground floor with two single beds, lots of space and a beautiful view over the garden. The shower room is huge, it has a nice powerful shower with with instant hot water. Breakfast was laid out in the dining room ready for when I woke up, there was a nice selection of cereals and bread was available for toast and a nice selection offruit. The house is peaceful with no "main" road traffic noise and the local neighbourhood is quite and seems like a nice place to live. Al is very knowledgeable about Liverpool and how to get to places (wanted to leave the car behind) he explained the train routes and ticket prices excellent and even recommend a few places to visit. I WOULD 100% recommend Al and Jan"s place too anyone who's visiting Liverpool, I'm hoping too book with Al and Jan again really soon. Thanks again both!! 🙂
