We were travelling with my boyfriend and two teenage kids it was challenging to find a place with enough space for all of us when looking to stay in Tokyo. I found this location and it was perfect. Loved having our own rooms and being able to sit up on the rooftop in the morning with coffee or a drink in the evening. The place was very informative helpful and responsive.
Like everyone mentioned the stairs are a lot of stairs after a while. I would stay here again but maybe before and not after climbing Mt Fuji. The house is showing a bit or wear on the staircase as well. Probably other guests trying to get suitcases up and down.
