About this apartment rental
Lovely self contained one bedroom flat on the ground floor with sofa bed in the lounge area offering extra accommodation.
Separate bathroom with bath and shower with heated towel rail
Double bedroom with comfortable bed, feather duvets and squishy pillows. Ample storage with a wardrobe and chest of drawers
Well equipped Open plan kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Oven, hob and microwave cooker
Sitting room area has a comfortable sofa bed and a chair with a large TV and DVD player with an Amazon fire stick giving access to Netflix etc
River Views out of both windows across to Dartmouth
The property is situated a few minutes walk from a very nice coffee shop and The amazing Steampacket pub. The angel pub also do fab Italian pizzas. The ferry terminal is five minutes walk away and is a short hop across to Dartmouth for even more restaurants and shops
Parking
Parking in Dartmouth and Kingswear is always at a premium, but our location does offer many solutions. The most convenient parking is just up the road and around the corner in the next street, but you will need to avoid a couple of one hour slots per day which are reserved for residents (between 10am and 11am and 2pm and 3pm). Outside of these hours parking is free and relatively abundant though you may have a 5 to 10 minute walk back to the apartment. The really good news is that you can park right outside to unload and if you can't find a space anywhere there is a pay car park directly opposite the apartment adjacent to the marina (approx £6-£8 per day depending on the season).

Lovely stay in Kingswear, just a very short ferry ride across the harbour from Dartmouth. Good facilities and comfortable accommodation.

Nice flat, short walk to the lower ferry, pubs, nice cafe that serves a great breakfast.
The peak parking in the marina is £10 per day, not £8 as stated. You can park around the corner up the hill, but the parking here isn’t ideal.
The flat itself was clean, nice owner as well. I’d recommend it.

2nd year we stayed here. However not so good as last year. No hot water except shower. Property obviously not checked over between lettings. Not so clean eg hairs on throw at bottom of bed, washbasin dirty. Washer didn’t work because the handle was broken, toilet seat needs refitting, peddle bin in bathroom not working properly. No instructions whatsoever, eg how cooker oven works, what to do with rubbish. Also important, key collection details need rewording to make sure that clients know the house to collect them from is at the Bottom of the lane, not the top.
