La casa del pescatore: a lovely escape in Venice!!

The apartment is much nicer than in the Booking.com pics! Easy to find, very close to the vaporeto stations and to all the main sights. Although very centrally located, it was quiet and allowed peaceful sleep. Spotless clean!. The bed was really comfortable and of great size. Power sockets on each side of the bed, plus everywhere in the house, made it very easy to charge mobiles and laptops. The internet was pretty good. The kitchen was fully equipped, also with breakfast offerings, still mini-markets and a bakery were practically one minute away! And so were countless restaurants , really spoiled for choice!. Powerful shower, bathroom fully equiped too! Air-conditioning available, but we didn't need to use it, as the apartment was cool enough. Tommy, our host, was really kind, readily available to bring the keys and explain all that we needed to know. Importantly, he was kid enough to secure our luggage for a few hours on departure date so we could go around Venice a little more before leaving.

Nothing really, almost perfect!

De communicatie met de host verliep uitstekend. We werden ontvangen bij de garage en begeleid via de waterbus naar het appartement. Het appartement is centraal gelegen en toch rustig. Restaurants en barretjes om de hoek. We komen graag terug!

L’établissement était parfait : très propre, les lits très confortables, et très bien isolé du bruit. L’hôte était d’une grande gentillesse.

L’établissement était légèrement sombre, mais cela n’a en rien affecté notre séjour.

Il posto è magico , molto curato e bello . Situato nel cuore di Venezia permette di visitarla senza sforzi e in maniera pratica . Consigliato !
