Tam Coc Heart Homestay

Room was clean and comfortable - they were very accommodating when we arrived early too Rented a bike at a really reasonable price (although it was a bit knocked up) Staff were very friendly and location is brilliant right in the heart of town

The homestay is very well located, close to every tourist attraction. The beds are suuuper comfy. The room was clean and had everything i needed, lots of tourist information as well. The staff was lovely despite the language barrier. They did my laundry and kindly hand washed some delicate clothes. Also, one of the nights some very rude guests were yelling in the middle of the night and the staff helped me with the issue, politely indicating them the silent hours. Would totally recommend. The pool is a plus in the warm Tam Coc.

This is really well located for exploring Tam Coc on foot, tucked down a small alley away from the main street, it is quieter than we expected. The room we had was a decent size, with good ac and a fan, the shower was good too. But, the room on the ground floor is probably the noisiest as all the other guests have to walk past the door to go upstairs, we found this very noisy.

As mentioned above, the noise from other guests was bad, only when they were coming in and out, but at one point it sounded like there was a group outside discussing plans, also every time someone checked in, they would walk around shouting "hello" as no-one was at reception. The bed was hard as were the pillows, so both of us had a really bad night's sleep, contributed to be a lot of light spilling in from the hallway through what appeared to be a wallpapered window.. The room was also not that clean, lots of dust and dead flies around the bed,

The host lady is kind.

The host does not speak english. You can communicate with them only via google translate which is difficult. No heating in the room only cold air from aircondition. Many mosquitoes. Holes in the bathroom so mosquitoes and small bugs could fly in in the evening. No options for breakfast. Small portions. Noisy guest on terrace all night. No hairdryer.
