It was very clean and cozy, as well as very beautiful. The location is very good - no more than 10 minutes walking to the city center.

When we first arrived, I had forgotten to let Boris know that we’d caught an earlier train from Sofia, so we showed up two hours early with no one there to let us in. Even though it was entirely my fault, I proceeded to send Boris a barrage of rather stressed messages (we’re travelling with a six-month-old baby, so nerves and logistics can get a little intense), and despite being in the middle of a massage, he immediately jumped into a taxi to come check us in — without the slightest hint of irritation.
He is truly a one-of-a-kind host: helpful, communicative, and just an incredibly genuine and kind person. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I’m usually a bit hesitant about below-ground rooms, but although this one is technically in the basement, it felt both fresh and very cozy. We would gladly stay here again.
And Boris — thanks again, and sorry about the ruined massage. Moral of the story: always update your host if your arrival time changes 🙈

The room had all toiletries that one may need, there was botteled water available in the lobby. Very comfortable stay overall!

Absolutely great - location, cleanliness, cleanliness (I know I say it twice). Very warm welcoming.
Bed sheets - they seemed not to be 100% cotton and I’ve got the feeling I was wrapped in naylon
