Situated on the beautiful eastern shore of Lake Leelanau, We are situated on the beautiful eastern shore of South Lake Leelanau inside West Wind Resort, a wonderful resort on 3.5 acres of secluded property with over 400 feet of waterfront. Each cottage is individually owned and operated and rental options may vary. Our Cabin #7 offers 750 sq ft of relaxing space, inc. 2 bedrooms (1 queen and 1 full size) , full bath, complete kitchen, dining area and knotty pine living room, HDTV, gas log fireplace, perfect for those chilly and romantic evenings. Private patio with barbeque grill, picnic table and seating, private beach, boat slips (allowing up to 20' boat) and playground for the kids. Breathtaking sunset views. Cook a smore or take a casual boat ride around the lake at sunset and return to your own private dock just steps away from your cabin. A fisherman's paradise, including, Northern & Walleye Pike, Bass, Perch even Brown Trout. .

There was not one thing the cabin did not have and we have stayed in many cabins and condos. They went above and beyond to make sure there was everything we needed. Loved being able to sit on the couch and watch the water or sit on the beach and enjoy the sun. The sunsets were beautiful. Wonderfully quiet and relaxing. The cost for just 2 retired people like us was intimidating but after we arrived it was worth every penny! Steve was ontop of things and I could go on and onabout what a joy the cabin was for us.

Cottage was clean and well maintained. The boats are all protected by a seawall which was helpful during the high wind days.
The lake is beautiful plus the close proximity of Sutton's bay and Leland makes it easy to see other sites.

This rental had everything you need for a perfect, relaxing getaway. The cottage is well-maintained, stocked up, and had plenty of space for my family. We utilized the outdoor space and grilled on the patio where we ate our meals, enjoyed boating/swimming on the lake, and soaked in those beautiful sunsets while staying warm by the bonfire. It was great having all of that available to us! I also appreciated the location being secluded but also being a short drive to Suttons Bay and Traverse City to do some shopping or dining out. We even chatted with the owner, Steve, during our stay and he was so helpful and incredibly kind! We would definitely stay again!
