About this house rental
SUMMER SEASON 4 NIGHT MINIMUM! (June- August) Approximately 5 miles from Main Street Traverse City, this 3 bedroom, 2 bath completely renovated minimalist home awaits. In the summer, enjoy the beaches and kayaking nearby. Wine tasting and restaurants abound in the city. Two queen beds and one king bed are on site, sleeping 6. The master is en suite. There is no walk in shower, just tub/shower combos. Spectacular views. No Pets, No Smoking please. Rental limit of 30 days. Fall and Spring Season 2 night minimum. (Change: no cable tv because no one was using it so streaming to smart tv only)

We had a wonderful stay at the VRBO house in Traverse City. The home was clean, well-kept, and felt very welcoming. The owner’s communication was excellent, and their friendliness made our experience even better. The house perfectly suited the purpose of our visit, and we were overall very pleased.
That said, we did notice that the landscaping around the property, both in the front and back, didn’t quite match the photos on the listing. The trees and plants appear to be overgrown, making the house difficult to see from the road, and a couple of trees are nearly blocking the driveway. While this didn’t impact our stay inside the home, it would be great to see the exterior tidied up to reflect the well-maintained appearance shown in the photos.

Another great stay at Hilltop Retreat. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Communication with Caroline was outstanding. Hope to return yet again!
