La Villa Ljubljana

- Lovely clean room, well equipped and nicely decorated. Cute complimentary snacks and milk in the fridge which was nice. Useful having a dishwasher and a nice coffee machine with complimentary pods which is a bonus. Also complimentary toiletries and sanitary kit! - Nice view from the balcony overlooking the Alpes. Table and chairs outside, nice to have a few drinks taking in the view and we had dinner out there a few times. - Good location, near buses which go straight into the city. Otherwise around 25-30 minute walk which was also ok. - Had thought as I'm 6ft 1 that I would hit my head on the roof but didn't at all. Everything needed is within reach where I didn't need to bend down which was good. - Great location for driving to Lake Bled (~45 mins) or to the caves (~55 mins). - Handy car park at the rear of the property (3 spaces, first come first serve) although very tight to get down the track between the house and wall, meaning you need to be skilled at reversing quite a distance! It's also quite a concealed entrance so easy to miss as you drive past, wouldn't let these points put you off booking this apartment as it's only a minor point! Apart from the surprise when we arrived it didn't impact the stay!

- Only downside which didn't really impact our stay much, but worth noting that it did get quite hot in the room I think because we were at the top, and also the heat from the sun being soaked in through the roof. The air con was helpful but was still very warm, and it wasn't that hot when we were there. In the summer months it might be a lot worse. - Also the shower drain clogged quite easily and ended up somewhat 'flooding' the bedroom as water creeped out the bathroom door. We had to barricade the shower with towels as it's supposedly a wet room, but as the drain didn't work the water had nowhere else to go.

Nice big appartment in a new building. No-contact check-in (key in a box). ca 25-30min walking distance to main city area. Private parking (open air). Nicely decorated, very comfortable, complementary chocolates, cereals and juices. Very clean. Nice balcony, WiFi worked very good.

No shelf in the shower cabin for the toiletries. Communication needs some improvement: 45min before check-in time 3pm I had to write to request the instructions, and I got them just 10min before chek-in, also telling that I can access the appartment at 2pm as per my request - too late -). Unfortunately I lost +20minutes trying to find the place. I thought the GPS wasn't working. I was looking for the address and building. Having the instructions ('small path from the main street') well in advance would be very helpful. One suggestion: a microwave (to warm up food, and avoid using the kitchen, extra kitchenware, washing, cleaning, etc).

Very clean and nicely decorated. There are swerts from the host that avait you. Location is perfect, if you want to take a walk or a cheap taxi ride to city center or nearby Tivoli park.

We checked for single bedroom apartment but it was like studio for single person. If you are travelling with big luggage there is no lift here have to carry them on stairs to 2nd or 3rd floors
