The bed was not that comfortable

There is a front desk staff which is helpful, Even though they're only there during the day. A lot of places now our staffless which isn't exactly welcoming to guests. The bed was pretty comfortable.

They call it a condo-tel, which means a variety of people own and furnish each of the condo rooms, but there doesn't seem to be any kind of standard for how they are furnished. This discrepancy is the reason there are such conflicting reviews on the various Points North rooms. I was told by the staff that there are some cute, cozy, comfortable rooms. That information only upset me because I was stuck for a long stay in a dingy '70s throwback room with old, worn out, sunken and very uncomfortable furniture that past its prime years ago and walls that badly needed repainting. The dingy feel was capped off by dark gray curtains and duct tape holding the curtain rod together. When I complained they told me that once the funds are allocated to that particular owner people can't change rooms. This is supposed to be a high-end lodging in a Lake Michigan resort town.
