Great location

We were allocated Studio Eiger which is on the ground floor. You go to reception at the Derby hotel to collect the key. The studio is more spacious than we anticipated. Lots of room. Great view of the Eiger from the bed. Free allocated parking for our studio in the carpark outside.. Great location 5 minutes walk from Grindelwald station and 7 minutes walk to bus station and CoOp supermarket. Warm. Beds comfortable. (We brought our own pillows.) Lots of hot water and a bath with hand held shower. Full size stove top, oven and fridge and even a tiny freezer. Nowhere near enough hooks and rails but there is a large radiator you can squeeze things along, and above the window you can hang hangers off the pelmet with your ski gear to dry off.

WiFi good when it worked, but went off regularly several times a day. Good 5G signal though. Really shabby bathroom needs total renovation. Was clean enough, but just looked really grimy due to stains and little bits of mould, and paint coming off the old tiles. The brown stained toilet bowl was not very appetising.

Good location with a nice view of the Eiger but on a busy street.

Great view of Eiger from the unit. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen was updated and almost like new.

Bathroom needs renovation. Many tiles are broken. There was black mold growing on the tiles and bathroom window. When I asked for the mold to be removed, staff had it promptly removed. Because this unit is on the ground floor, there is an apartment directly above. We had two different groups staying above and one was quiet while the other was very noisy (floor creaks when people walk heavily) and we recognize that this is out of anyone’s control when the unit is on the bottom.

Nice apartment with mountainview from the bedroom (see picture)

Location very close to Grindelwald center, train station and supermarket. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Spacious bedroom.

Carpets maybe a little dusty for those with allergies but after vacuuming and ventilating no issue

Perfect location with amazing view of Eiger

Amazing location. Just a couple of minutes' walk/climb to the train station. A supermarket is also a few minutes away. The place had almost everything you need. The view from the "First" apartment on the top floor was amazing. We had an amazing view of the Eiger. It was the best view we have stayed with so far.

The kitchen was missing some cooking basics, like salt, pepper, and oil. It would have been great if we hadn't had to buy those. The stay is not soundproof; we could hear everything from the neighbors, even their walking.

Le confort. La vue sur l’Eiger. La situation au milieu du village. Le chauffage. La qualité des équipements.

La présence d’un aspirateur, d’un un seau et d’un balai serait un plus pour entretenir le logement. Faire réparer la lampe de la chambre pour plus de clarté.

Vista fantástica, excelente localização.

Funcionários atenciosos, chalé com cozinha completa e quartos muito bons. Muito bem localizado e com vista fantástica.

Não existe ar condicionado, mas tem um ventilador, que deve ajudar na maior parte do ano, mas no verão é um pouco difícil. Janelas abertas no fim da noite entram muitos bichos e mosquitos.

Buena ubicación, excelente personal, falta de limpieza y mantenimiento

El personal es fantástico, con altos conocimientos de español, mención especial a Ricardo que hasta nos dio consejos sobre excursiones y logística para las mismas. La ubicación es excelente a solo 5 minutos de la estación de Grindelwald Banhof y al lado de la calle principal con supermercado y tiendas.

El mantenimiento del edificio necesita un buen repaso pues cruje entero con cada movimiento. La limpieza es muy mejorable, había telarañas en cada rincón del edificio, las contraventanas estaban sucias y rotas, el desagüe de la ducha lleno de pelo, la taza del baño rota, la cortina de la bañera (alucinante que no sea plato de ducha) no cubre toda la bañera y la alcachofa de la ducha no tiene enganche a una altura normal para tomar una ducha completa, hay que tenerla en la mano o arrodillarse si quieres lavarte el pelo con ambas manos..
