About this chalet rental

Renovated with a lot of passion, from my family and me, we offer you a wonderful apartment with every comfort and charm. The chalet is located outside the village center, but close to the winter and summer sports activities (train stations Kleine Scheidegg / Jungfraujoch / Männlichen only 15 minutes walk) with slope access. The view from the outside seating area belonging to the apartment offers you a fantastic view of the Eiger north face as well as the opposite village center!

All furniture incl. Bed, mattresses, duvets, etc. are new. In addition to the state-of-the-art, generously equipped kitchen, you can look forward to a relaxing experience shower. New, we also have a boot dryer, so that, for example, the ski boots between the ski days can dry properly.

For a fee we clean the apartment gladly in between. For short stays (less than 5 nights) a surcharge of 20% will apply. Please contact us via direct message for such an offer.

We stayed at Anita’s place for five days! We loved it and didn’t want to leave ever! It’s hard to say what was better: Anita or the flat! The flat had everything you could need, with a large bedroom, well equipped kitchen and a lovely outdoor space with amazing views of the mountains and gondolas. It was away from the city centre so very peaceful and quiet with a beautiful garden. Exactly what we wanted! Anita went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. She bought us groceries before we arrived and also a hopped groceries as we were running late one evenings. She is very friendly and came over to say hello number of times! We are already planning to stay at her place again!

I don't think I can possibly do this beautiful apartment enough justice in only 2,000 words. Alice and Anita were the perfect hosts. There was excellent communication leading up to my visit. I had no problem locating the apartment by driving. If you are not able to rent a car, the property is easily reachable by public transportation. It is perfectly situated for use of the trains. I had a rental car but found that I didn't need to use it. The apartment is a easy 30 min walk into the centre of Grindelwald (this is how I preferred getting into town. Such lovely views along the walk if you walk into town via the Grindelwald Grund route). Or the apartment is a short 12 minute walk to the Schwendi train station where you can ride into the centre of Grindelwald, Interlaken, or Lauterbrunnen. Alice and Anita have paid the closest attention to detail with this property. It was cozy, well stocked, and very clean. Exactly as pictured online. It has a very cozy garden and I enjoyed sitting in the grass and soaking up the sun. I hope to return to this lovely apartment again as it was truly a gem! I highly recommend this location to anyone! Anita and her mother Alice were wonderful. From booking up until we left they were very helpful and warm. The newly renovated apartment was clean and had everything you need for a stay. Alice was there to answer any questions we had and even offered to help us with laundry. Apartment is 15 min walk from schwendi station which gets you in and out of valley. Grindelwald has multiple grocery stores for cooking/ needs. Local butcher was awesome. Can’t say enough about this location, will definitely be returning!

Wir sind mehr als nur ein bisschen erholungsbedürftig angereist und sind heute durch die unendliche Gastfreundschaft von Familie S. und die wunderschöne Natur mit frischer Energie nach Hause gefahren. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und es gibt wirklich rein gar nichts zu bemängeln. Sauberkeit, Lage, Einrichtung, Ausstattung und alles was sonst noch irgendwie aufzuzählen wäre war perfekt. Wir haben 1 Woche in Grindelwald im Chalet Emmely verbracht. Die Wohnung liegt sehr schön mitten im Grünen (bzw. im Winter im Schnee), in der Nähe vom Grindelwald Terminal, alles ist sehr gut gepflegt, sauber und funktioniert einwandfrei. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war sehr angenehm und freundlich, man fühlt sich gleich willkommen. Wir können die Wohnung uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Wir 3 haben uns in der toll eingerichteten und sauberen Wohnung sehr heimelig gefüllt. Die Lage zur Skipiste ist ideal. Anita und Alice sind sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Ein kleines Schmuckstück an ruhiger Lage.

Comme déjà dit dans le titre de notre appréciation nous avons découvert un petit paradis dans un chalet traditionnel de Grindelwald. 1) L'appartement est très moderne et confortable. 2) Il est décoré avec un sens aigu de la tradition et du cooconing. 3) Les parents d'Anita, qui s'occupent de l'intendance sur place (Anita habite Interlaken si j'ai bien compris) sont non seulement charmants mais nous proposent des produits du terroir venant des environs ou même d'une ferme située à quelques dizaines de mètres de la propriété. (Quel régal les oeufs de la ferme à la coque au petit déjeuner. Cela nous change réellement de nos achats parisiens en super marché). Tout était prêt à notre arrivée: eau minérale, yogourts de Grindelwald, pain paillasse (délicieux aussi) oeufs. 3 raisons pour revenir et donner cette adresse à nos amis et à nos proches. A la lecture du livre d'hôtes, nous avons été surpris de ne trouver qu'un seul commentaire de français...... Alors, pour nos compatriotes nous allons ajouter une remarque aux trois précédentes. En plus de la propreté légendaire des locations suisses, savez-vous que l'on arrive à Grindelwald plus rapidement que dans n'importe quelle station française des Alpes? Allez les français, essayez de franchir de temps en temps une frontière, le plaisir n'en sera que plus augmenté. Eliane et Jean-Louis

Es war einfach top. Die Wohnung ist so gut konzipiert, dass 30 qm gefühlt zu 60 qm werden. Es fehlt einfach an gar nichts. Jeden Tag fühlten wir uns so, als ob wir nach Hause kommen. Selbst das Auto haben wir die gesamte Zeit nicht einmal gebraucht. Trotz der herrlich ruhigen Lage, sind die Bahnen bzw. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten bequem erreichbar. Liebe Familie Suter, wir haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt und werden wiederkommen. Die Liste mit den nächsten Wanderzielen wächst schon wieder. Ruhig und idyllisch gelegen abseits vom Rummel mit traumhafter Aussicht Richtung Grindelwald und die 4000tausender. Gastfamilie freundlich, hilfsbereit und kompetent. Info zum Gletscherdorf in der Wohnung vorhanden. Ferienwohnung bis ins kleinste Detail durchdacht und ausgestattet. Ich habe die Tage sehr genossen und würde jederzeit gerne Ferien dort verbringen und es meinem Freunden empfehlen. Ein Kompliment an meine Gastgeber.

Wir haben die Zeit in Grindelwald sehr genossen und dies lag nicht zuletzt an der tollen, perfekt ausgestatteten FeWo im Chalet Emmely. Die kleine Wohnung wurde mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Unsere Highlights (in/an der Wohnung): die kleine Terrasse mit Blick auf die Eiger Nordwand, das modern-rustikale Design, tolle Wohn-Urlaubsatmosphäre auf kleinem Raum, die Rainshower :) Auch die Gastgeber waren sehr herzlich! Hier kann man sich einfach nur wohlfühlen, die Schweizer Begrluft genießen*** Vielen Dank!

The location of the chalet is perfect, quiet and just a short walk or drive to the train station and town centre. Chalet had everything you would need, and was cozy and comfortable. We would choose to stay there next time we are in Grindelwald.

von der ersten Sekunde an, als wir diese schöne Wohnung entdeckt haben, war die Urlaubsfreude nicht mehr zu bremsen. Sie wurde getoppt durch eine zauberhafte Vorabbetreuung durch Alice, Walter und Anita, ein Rundumsorglospaket, für das wir nur die Hände aufhalten mussten. Als wir dann als stolze erste "Bewohner" die frisch eingerichtete Ferienwohnung beziehen durften, war das in Verbindung mit der sehr herzlichen Begrüßung noch das i-Tüpfelchen. Die Wohnung ist sehr liebvoll hergerichtet und mit allem, was das Herz begehrt, ausgestattet. Alles ist fußläufig erreichbar und doch liegt die Wohnung total ruhig und eröffnet einen Traumblick in die wunderschöne Bergkulisse von Grindelwald. Ein super Urlaub mit wunderschönen Bildern, die wir nie vergessen werden im Schutz des Mönchs. Ganz herzlichen Dank, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen.

Absolut empfehlenswert! Grandiose Aussicht, ruhig gelegen und doch nicht abseits (man kann sogar zu Fuß alles erreichen), die Einrichtung ist modern, praktisch und gemütlich, die netten Vermieter wohnen nebenan und sind sehr hilfsbereit. Der Mailkontakt vorab war zuverlässig, konkret und herzlich. Wir hätten nicht gedacht, dass man sich in einer so kleinen Wohnung so wohl fühlen kann und kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank!

We had a fantastic 10 day stay at Chalet Emmely. We were only the third renters of this newly renovated apartment. It is conveniently located at the bottom of the run/slope from The Aspen Hotel. The homeowners were very accommodating. We were able to order fresh farm egg and cheese. We received a fresh delivery of rolls (brotchen) every morning. The homeowner also supplied us with wonderful homemade jam. We were also picked up from the train station when we arrived in Grindelwald. Overall we had a wonderful and memorable stay and would highly recommend Chalet Emmely.
