Close to Grindelwald but I would look to do this for not too many days .

Keys was in a lock box , very simple to use . Close to a smaller train station . Close to Grindelwald . Had a kitchenette .

The room was small, the kitchenette had some basics but was really hard to cook in it - no tongs and only one spatula .

No frills but great value & was a good base for driving around the area.

Not worth the money

The property was clean and very close to the Schwendi station.

I faced problems in many things:- 1. Check in process was horrible. I had to wait for 2 hours at Grindelwald station to receive the key to my apartment due to the carelessness of the lady at Interhome group. The key WAS NOT in the envelope kept in the Interhome office. 2. Check in and check out process is very complicated. One has to travel to Grindelwald station (2 stations after the apartment is located) to accept and handover the key back. This was very pathetic. They could have kept a letterbox at the apartment itself instead of keeping them at the office. 3. The bed and mattress was not that good. It was very noisy, i think it needs to get repaired.

Very good

Beautiful building. Great room. Nice small kitchen. Short distance from Grindelwald, Breathtaking landscape from Grindrlwald to Schwendihus all along the way.

Steep slope from Schwendi train station to Schwendihus. Not recommended if you have walking difficulties. Also many flies if you keep the windows open. Fly nets would have been very helpful.

Cheaters

Although, in the booking ad they stated there is internet connection at the place, there was none. We had a room on the ground floor and our neighbours also struggled with internet. WiFi was only on the first and second floor. We called the number that was given us during check in and reported the problem. After two days we were told that they are not responsible for this (so who is??) and they dont provide internet for business purposes. Is checking hiking routes nearby a business purpose?? For me it is a pure fraud - what if there was no bathroom at the place and the owner told you it is not his responsibility?? I could have booked bilion other places nearby. Also noone cleaned the room during all stay, and the towels stinked. The rooms on the ground floor had no privacy as guests were passing the apartment and they could see all the insides. Plus many insects and very loud street just at your window. I rly do not reccomend this place. There are lots of other apartments where at least they do not cheat customera stating there are facilities at the apartment that are in fact not existing!

Don't go for ground floor if you are staying for a view

Price was ok as compared to other places in Grindelwald, far from town but manageable..

Was next to main road so very noisy till late evening. From ground floor apartment there is no view so if you are going for a view, please choose other apartments on higher floors..

Alojamiento cómodo con excelente ubicación y vistas increíbles

La ubicación, cercanía a estación de tren y conexión para moverse a más lugares. Zona muy tranquila con vista increíble a las montañas, todo el alojamiento muy limpio y cómodo, recepción con indicaciones muy claras para una llegada autónoma, se nos brindó un pase turista para usar bus o tren hacia Grindelwald. Todo fue perfecto

Prima voor wintersport, als je ‘s ochtends de skibus of trein neemt!

Prima bedden die lang genoeg waren. Goede douche. Geen last van verkeerslawaai doordat we een raam konden openen dat niet aan de wegzijde zat.

Schwendi is een saai plaatsje, maar dat wisten we van te voren al.
