Appartement well located in Gdańsk but needs some improvements.

The appartement is very well located (near train station Gdańsk Główny), there are many convenients around like some restaurants, groceries, bakeries and even a shopping mall. The appartement is also spacious and comfortable.

The appartement was not very clean, I saw some dust on the toilet for example or in the shower. There also a strange smell in the bathroom that comes from the sewer. The building's entrance is in front of the trash bins (which is also the view you get from the balcony) and the entrance is very dark at night.

No "Gold standard" - but centrally and quietly located.

Absolutely quiet location, although only 3 minutes from the main train station. The landlord provided a good description of the location. Easy access to the apartment with a key box. Very well-maintained staircase, although there are 68 steps without an elevator up to apartment no. 9 on the 3rd floor. The apartment has a balcony. Large desk with a comfortable office chair. Heating and WiFi worked perfectly. The "Gold Apartment" wasn't much to look at. Outdated and worn-out furnishings and appliances, a loose toilet seat, a saggy and too soft mattress, no storage space in the shower, and only one large towel, which wasn't a problem, however, as the apartment was occupied by only one person, but large towels for two people were available. The same applies to access to the bed, which was only possible from one side.

Not the room we booked

The apartment was bright, clean and comfortable. The microwave, kettle, and washing machine were very useful.

This is NOT the apartment we booked. That apartment (Rajska 4) was taken off the market weeks ago. Despite numerous emails and booking.com communications about other matters, they did not tell us that they had switched our room. This changed our location, changed where we were to park our car (very difficult in Gdansk) and caused extra walking. In addition, this new room was up 43 steps, which these 2 seniors had trouble with due to our large heavy suitcases. There is no elevator. There is no freezer in the fridge so ice packs for medications caused a problem.

Fajna miejscówka na krótkie wypady, świetna lokalizacja, która rekompensuje ewentualne braki.

Lokalizacja super. Wszędzie blisko, na piechotę z dziećmi można odwiedzić większość atrakcji Gdańska lub dojechać komunikacją, która też jest rzut kamieniem od lokalu.

Zachowam dla siebie, jak dla mnie lokal spełniał oczekiwania. Niemniej, osoby wrażliwe na estetykę, czystość nie przystającą do pokoju dzieci, czy dźwięki sąsiadów mogą czuć dyskomfort.
