Beautiful and clean interior: We really liked the apartment itself; it was modern, nicely decorated, and perfectly clean. Great location: The property is right in the city center, so everything is close by. Having a supermarket right next to the building is a huge plus. Excellent blackout options: We highly appreciated the great blinds and curtains, which made the room pitch black and perfect for sleeping. Quiet from the street: Even though the apartment is on the first floor, it was completely quiet from the outside with no street noise. Amenities: The kitchen was very well-equipped with everything we needed. Communication resolved: Although there was a minor misunderstanding with the owner regarding our arrival, everything was eventually cleared up. We appreciated that our late-night check-in and middle-of-the-night check-out were accommodated.

Noise from neighboring apartments: This was a big downside for us. You can hear absolutely everything from the apartments next door and above—people walking, opening doors, running water, and flushing toilets. If you are a light sleeper and need to go to bed early (as we did), you won't catch much sleep. Squeaky doors: The interior doors in the apartment squeaked quite a bit, which was also a bit disturbing at night.

Everything was extremely clean and well-organized. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you might need, including a kettle, cooking utensils, a washing machine, and an iron. It looks like it was recently renovated and is in really good condition. The location is also excellent, very close to the old town and the central train station, making almost everything within walking distance.

We had a generally good stay, but there are a few details future guests should be aware of. Being on the ground floor makes it a little bit noisy. It also seems like the original space was divided into two separate units during a renovation, so the walls are not soundproof at all. You can hear almost everything from the apartment next door. Another important note is the shower situation. The hot water tank only has a 50-liter capacity. We found this out the hard way on our first day when the hot water ran out before my husband could take his shower. We contacted the owner, who informed us that it takes about an hour for the tank to reheat. Finally, the host sent us a message asking us to give a 10-point rating if we were happy, but explicitly asked us not to leave any comment if we weren't. I found that approach a bit weird and unfair to future travelers. So, here is my honest review and a solid 8 out of 10! :)

This is our second stay at this place. The neighborhood is quiet, despite the church bells ringing even at night. The apartment is clean and has everything one could need.
