About this house rental
Our 1933 Craftsman home is one of the 10 historic homes of Volcano Village. Purched in the canopy of the Ohia forest the songs of the ‘Apapane bird will serinade you from the tree tops around our balcony. Walking distance to stores and restaurants and less than 2 miles from Volcanoes National Park. Our home is the ideal location to launch your Volcano adventure.
The cool mountain climate and amazing hiking and bird trails are some of the reasons this area has traditionally been mostly second homes for Hawaii families living in Honolulu or other towns. Come share ours!

This is a lovely rental property in a great location. Easy access to Volcano National Park on a quiet street with a lovely woods out back. There is a great farmers market and nice grocer near by as well as art galleries to enjoy. Three days was hardly enough to get started. Would rent again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful home, very well maintained and decorated. Well-appointed kitchen. Excellent experience. We would come back to this property whenever we come to Volcano.

This is a really lovely home. Even more charming in person than the pictures. Beds and couch are very comfortable. Kitchen is well appointed if you plan to cook. Very near the park.

This property is absolutely perfect for Volcano Village. It has lots of charm, great amenities, and a perfect location. If you think you will explore Volcano National Park for more than one day, or are trying to time your stay around an eruption event, you can't beat this spot. Hilo is only 35min away if you need a beach day or some groceries. Our stay was amazing.
