Tresor Barska Apartments

I appreciated how easy it was to communicate with Max, our host, and the fact that he helped us leave our luggage in the building until the room was ready. Another thing that caught my attention was that the studio was equipped with everything we needed: crockery, cutlery, good-quality toilet paper, and even toothbrushes in case we needed them (although we didn’t). The studio is in a building on a quiet, tree-lined street overlooking the road, from where you can reach the River Vistula in just a few minutes. The stop for bus 300, which connects the airport to the city, is just a 3–4-minute walk from the property. Very close by are bakeries, a small market where you can buy fruit and vegetables, and other small shops. About 10, or at most 15, minutes’ walk away is the Jubilat building, from where you can catch public transport to various points of interest in Kraków.

Very pleasant host, modern nice apartment, quiet location. Biggest appreciation for letting us checkin before PM, as we had morning flight.

The only thing for us was a bit too soft mattrace, but it’s just a personal opinion. Everything else was perfect!

Beautiful finishes, high ceilings. Nice kitchen. Sparkling clean. Balcony is a true balcony with a chair and lovely to sit out there. Delicious breakfast/coffee place (Królowa Przedmieścia) with friendly staff only 3 minutes walk away. Linens were cotton and down duvets, and the queen bed was very comfortable. The sleeper sofa was large enough for my 6’1” brother, folding down into about a full/queen size bed. Max was welcoming and showed us all the details, and the key fob made it easy to access the apartment from the street and within the building. The apartment is on the third floor but the stairs are wide. Also, it was a five minute walk to the train and bus stop, and Max gave the great advice to download Jakdojade app, which made it easy to hop on and off the public transit.

We had a moment where the hot water wasn’t working but Max instructed us to turn it off and on again using the large switch on the front, which worked perfectly to get it going for showers.

Everything was great! I loved that it was perfectly clean and that we could leave the luggage after check-out free of charge. It was really close to the bus station that goes directly to the airport.

If you are older people or someone that doesn't like a lot of walking, you should consider it takes around 15-20 minutes to the old town with normal walking pace.
