The location of the apartment is lovely, over looking the sea but with a car park in between , which I imagine would get busy and quite noisy in the summer months. The apartment itself was very clean and tidy.

The apartment is not for a Winter let. On a very cold weekend in Roses, We were met by Jordi, the owner and, as we entered the apartment, it was freezing cold. There is a reversible heating system in the lounge. This took about 3 hours to heat up but we also had to put blankets over us for quite a time. We looked around and no beds were made. Jordi said we should have brought our own bedding! What?? He said he could hire us bedding at 20 euros and duly brought sheets later. However, none of these fitted the double. We made do but when paying 300 euros for just 3 nights, we felt this was totally unacceptable. The sofas in the lounge (actually sofa beds) are incrediblyy uncomfortable and have seen better days. We realised the lock to the terrace was broken too so could not lock the door at all. We had to put the shutter down each time we went out. We agreed to leave the apartment at 0930 on our departure day but by 1000 Jordi had not arrived or texted back to say when he would be there. I left the apartment in immaculate condition but would have liked this to have been checked by him. We ended up having to leave the keys in the garage otherwise there was no way of getting out of the complex. I took a photo of where they were and sent to Jordi. He texted the next day to say we should have not have left the keys in the garage. Like we had a choice! Needless to say we did not leave money for the bedding, we had to shift the one radiator we found into the bedroom to keep warm, bathroom too. It should be made clear that you have to bring your own bedding too - how do tourists flying in manage this one?? Jordi is now constantly texting for our ID for which I have no idea why (he says for the contract, which we never signed anyway). He was not friendly to us at all and I am amazed at other reviews saying that he fell over backwards for clients. We did not get this at all from him. All in all, for a Birthday weekend for my husband, we were pretty disappointed.
