Eva Recommends Triana

The location is excellent situated beside one of the doors to Triana market and in a lively yet quiet area. Restaurants outside the door that opened with the market and stayed open late in the evening. When I say the accommodation is good for families I would say young children. The one way glass screening the main bedroom is not that one way when a light is on in either room. As a couple we has no issues and enjoyed the space.

The Kitchen could be better equipped but I understand not everyone is staying for a week, extra pot. Also because we were there for longer a brush and dust pan would have been nice (crusty bread makes crumbs). There were only two pillows on the bed although we nicked the ones from the single beds it would be good to have two each provided. That all said we got by very well indeed. I suspect the three nice wine glasses were left by a previous guest and in turn we left a couple of proper mugs.

The location of the apartment was perfect. The nearby restaurants were a great bonus and it was an easy walk to access other bars etc.

It would have been preferable to have a designated couch in the living area and not a sofa bed. This sofa bed was not very comfortable to sit on. In addition, a smart tv in the living area would be of benefit. There is a smart tv in the bedroom but we would have preferred to watch it in the living area.

Great Location. A/C was working and great due to the extreme heat. Check in and check out were very easy.

The beds were very disappointing. They move if the other person moves even a little. The soundproofing was bad. The blackout curtains were missing on a window and those which were present did not properly block the light. The bathroom water took a long time to be mildly hot. The a/c was working but very loud and sounded like it desperately needed maintenance.

We absolutely loved the location, the small balconies overlooking the cafes below, the proximity to the market, how quiet it was at night, the building was beautiful and clean, we appreciated the easy access with the door code, the cleanliness, the apartment layout and most of the furniture, the style.

The AC unit in the bedroom was broken / leaking so much it made a puddle by the bed. We came to find out that this had been reported several times previously and had yet to be fixed. So, when we inquired about it on the phone and via message, we were essentially, lied to when manager said that there would be someone coming out to fix it asap-they had no intention of sending anyone to fix it. June in Seville is very hot. The AC in the living room was not cool enough. Ended up waking up at dawn and moving to the living room because it was so hot. Cleaning staff finished 30 mins past check-in time so we had to wait sitting in the stairs until the apartment was finished. This is after having called early in the day requesting early access if possible. The kitchen chairs were metal - they looked super cool but on a floor like that, they were just so loud. No basics in the kitchen like salt, sugar, EVOO, vinegar, coffee and tea packets - nothing but water in the fridge. The curtains-some were missing. The shampoo and soap bottles in the bathroom were not labeled. How were we supposed to know which was the shower gel, shampoo, etc.
