Good place to land

Close to a very busy road. Please consider replacing plastic water bottles with refillable glass bottles and filtered water stations. It’s a simple change that makes a big impact on Bali’s environment.

Great stay if you don’t mind having cats around

I enjoyed staying at The Lebak overall. It is a very nice place and the staff was supporting. The included breakfast is delicious.

There were too many cats everywhere. It was a bit disturbing. Also in multiple occasions I had to ask to get toilet paper as it was missing, a few details that would make a difference in the overall experience.

Nice rooms, perfect AC, very nice garden truly taken care of, beautiful pool and functional kitchen and outdoor shared living space. We also loved the small little cats:) I have also never seen a wider selection of delicious breakfast options. Overall very satisfied.

Amazing for the price!

Such a cute tranquil villa. A lovely communal area with a kitchen and the cutest kittens on the property! Will definitely come back again. For the price, this is well worth it!

Not worth the price in my opinion

The breakfast was great in the sister accomodation owned by the same owner about 500yd down the road but you need to cross a very busy road. The setting of the breakfast at the rooftop terrace overlooking the rice field was an amazing experience too. The staff were accommodating and friendly when we checked in slightly early and checked out very early in the morning. The cabin huts and green surroundings look cute and nice too.

The size of the pool is deceiving in the photos on booking.com as it's more the size of a plunge pool for dipping in real life. Outdoor gym was minimal with one set of dumbbells and few yoga mats. Also there were faeces found in the sink twice within the short time we were there. We cleaned it off and the unpleasant odour still lingers so we went to ask the staff to help disinfect the sink. We were told it's the faeces of the lizard but it's quite huge. The second time we discovered faces in the sink, we remember to take a photo before cleaning it ourselves. We only stayed for a night but the WiFi wasn't working. The location is also far from the beach and any tourist attractions.

Beyond expectations

such lovely hotel with great hospitality. i only booked it last minute as my kid was sick and i have to change my Java plan to Bali considering better clinics/hospitals thus the selection criteria is close to clinic at reasonable cost, this hotel was recommended and i am glad i made good decision. The hotel and its rooms are small but beautiful, staff are super friendly especially towards young kids (my 3 year old boy was a bit shy at beginning but became good friend with one of the staff), the food is also fantastic at reasonable price. There is even a small pool and fitness corner for those who wants it.

Nothing at all, maybe only the breakfast starting time is a bit late (ordering from 8am)

A cozy stay with charming staffs and okay location.

The staffs were all very friendly, especially Anita, and helpful in making your stay more welcoming. The location is not right at the hotspot area but you can walk to neighbouring food stalls, amenities/convenience shop and shopping places, but it's better to rent a bike (if you can). Don't expect spectacular view but the place is cozy and charming in its own way. Definitely worth the price I paid and it's a place I would consider to return to.

Overall cleanliness is okay but please do improve on items such as bedsheet as some has stains and bathroom has signs of wear and tear.

Great stay value/ money-wise!

It is very nice, authentic place with friendly staff and beautiful garden with pool. Very nice complimentary breakfast menu. Surprisingly strong AC. Daily cleaning 👍🏻

It was all ok, but for me personally few things that I'd take into account for the next time - it is not really close to Canggu beach (need to take taxi/ bike), besides the breakfast there is no possibility to order any food, sheets were all clean and fresh but not really white anymore.. (maybe that sounds stupid, but it is something that I always notice). With that said, spatious room and garden with very nice pool definitely outweight these small things.

We had a lovely stay at the Lebak, the room was clean and comfortable and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The bed was really comfortable and the area was very peaceful and quiet. The pool area was really well maintained and was very enjoyable to swim and relax in that area.

Good for working stays

Staff were nice and very friendly. The location was great for me as well. The pool was cleaned too, was great! Also the breakfast plan helped me so much in the morning. Wifi was great, and I was able to work through remote calls and meetings without a problem ;)

In terms of cleanliness, the cleaners did great but the sheets were not the most visibly clean. You could see stains and I just got but by a lot of things. Not sure if they were just mosquitos or others. But I spoke to others that were staying and it seemed they were having a great experience, so it’s safe to say this place is worth it!!

Beautiful

Gorgeous gardens and small pool which was such a sun trap! The staff were so friendly and had everything you needed. Laundry service was good and fast. The room was cosy and clean! Would definitely recommend this place for all types of travellers and for the price you can’t complain!

Location is just slightly away from the bars / restaurant area of canggu so not quite walking distance but bikes are great!

stay at this place only if you own a motorcycle and don't mind living next to highway

if you value your own privacy in a 2br villa with no staff on site to help you with your queries.

it did not help that we were not in the lebak property - we were put up at the umaliplip villa across the busy highway instead, which is very misleading representation. there were no hangers in the cupboards, towels were not changed frequently and the cleaner poured some strange yellow liquid reeking of iron onto the wash basin counter which splashed onto our belongings.

Nice landscaping and convenient, quite location. The staff is very helpful and helped us with baby meals and exploring food options. Good value for money.

Pictures did not match the room requirements that we were looking for. We didn't get what we were looking for. Rooms are small and not enough for facilities. Kitchen area needed attention.
