Homestay Review We had such a wonderful stay at this homestay and genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the whole family was incredibly welcoming, kind and generous. They went far beyond what we expected to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. They helped us organise visits, safaris, drivers and guides, always recommending lovely people and arranging everything at very reasonable prices. It made exploring the area so easy and stress-free, and we really appreciated how much care they put into helping us discover Sri Lanka. We also had breakfast and dinner at their home twice, and honestly, these were some of the best meals we have had during our entire trip in Sri Lanka! The food was delicious, homemade and a wonderful opportunity to experience authentic Sri Lankan cooking. What we especially loved was how genuinely interested they were in sharing their culture and way of life with us. They were always happy to answer our questions, explain local traditions and recommend things to see and do. It made the stay feel much more personal than a typical hotel experience. The room itself was also lovely: comfortable, clean, spacious and equipped with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Overall, this was one of the highlights of our trip. If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay with a genuinely kind and welcoming family who will help you make the most of your time in Sri Lanka, we would absolutely recommend staying here. We are very grateful for their hospitality and will remember this stay for a long time!

Wow what a memorable stay. Wasan the owner is a gentleman and a great host. He looked after us when we were ill and made sure we had a great time thereafter. Breakfast and dinner were superb. I would recommend his homestay to everyone and we hope to visit again with our family. Thank you Wasan for some amazing memories and all of your kindness🙏❤️

A very nice host, we had home made food there and it was lovely. The owner clearly takes time preparing the great food with local ingredients, some of which grown by his family. The owner was attentive and knowledgeable with great english.

Nothing to dislike. There are food and cafe places nearby, but it isn't in the busy bit of town if that is what you were after.
