The apartment is very nice, cosy, clean and it is situated in a very good location, within walking distance of Alfama. Ricardo is the best host ever! Because of him, our vacation became a great experience in Lisbon :-). I would definitely recommend it!

I read many reviews before booking a place in Lisbon and this one caught my attention because of the good reviews. The host Ricardo is amazing! Very responsive, friendly, and attentive to all our needs. The place had everything we needed and more, and was also in an interesting part of town—I loved the stairs! It was also not too far from a metro and train station. We loved our stay!

Traditional Lisbon apartment- cozy and clean - renovated interior with high ceilings in older building- comfortable bed - perfect place for my dog and me to rest while exploring the city. The owner Ricardo and his helper Henrique are the kindest people you will meet! They will give you texts of every cool local place to go and check in on you by text during your stay to answer any questions. They even gave me dog-friendly Fado restaurants in Alfama! If you’re bringing your dog don’t miss the Parque Eduardo VIi with its cafe and adjoining off leash wading pool - my dog loved it!

Be prepared for the large flight of stairs down from the street if you have heavy luggage or any mobility issues. Don’t worry though because the owner arranged help for me upon my late arrival and for my early morning departure which was so very kind - just let him know. You are about a mile walk outside of the Alfama district, but if you’re not up to the very steep hills of Lisbon you can get an Uber or taxi around easily.
