Fantastic stay!

Exceptional stay! Wow from the moment walked in. Our room was beautful and huge with a bathroom that could be featured in a magazine! We had a big private terrace overlooking Tuscan countryside- it was perfect! Beautifully decorated bedroom with bed that was heavenly comfortable with crispy sheets and perfect pillows- I wish all hotels had that. Delicious breakfast was served on an outside patio. Pool was lovely, with beautful views and never crowded. Our 10 year old loved it! Property grounds are very nice with a small veggie garden. Staff was very kind and helpful serving drinks to the pool ordered via Whatsup. 8 min walk to town for dinner. They serve dinner at the hotel but we didn’t try it. The town had so many great options. Overall a fantastic stay, great location and good base to explore Chianti but as it was so lovely we had a hard time leaving the pool ;) We were so happy we found this place. Price was great too. Highly recommend.

A lovely Tuscan villa-close to many wonderful towns to explore.

The buffet breakfast was excellent. Good selection of traditional Italian and protein. They brought me an egg when I asked The grounds were lovely and so peaceful. Private and truly Tuscan vibe. The woman I spoke with made reservations for us and helped us plan.

The bed was a bit hard for us.

Relaxing stay on edge of Castellina in Chianti

Fantastic building short walk from Village. Pool and grounds looked great although weather meant we didn’t enjoy them as much as we might have hoped. Breakfast buffet was great and set us up well for our next day walking along the Romea Sanese.

Nothing we disliked but tea making facilities in room would have been great!

I’ve stayed in Villa Godenano already 2 years ago and this time I wanted to go back and I did well. The location, the facilities, the comfort and especially the staff (Jessica and Agnese) we’re amazing. I loved my stay there and will definitely go back.

Located in a beautiful area, we had an excellent room with the terrace. Nice breakfast. Great location in the Tuscan hills which made travel easier to other towns. Very nice staff.

Not much to be unhappy about- would be nice to have screens in the windows, but rarely found in Italy.
