Fun overnight stop on our drive from Northern Italy to Languadoc

Decent place for a brief stopover in a characterful small town

Romans-sur-Isere is not a big tourist town but we really enjoyed our brief stay there - very characterful, lots of good restaurants and cafes, really good farmer's market on Sunday morning (and at least one day during week I think). There isn't an enormous choice of accommodation and the 'bed in shop' was fine for a night or two. The host was responsive and the apartment is located right in the centre of the old town. Two good-sized bedrooms with decent beds.

Wasn't the cleanest apartment I've stayed in, but nothing too bad - it's a big place with high ceilings and would take a lot of work to get spotless! Also, it looks more stylish in the photos than in real life - the decor and furnishings have been sort of thrown together and some of them are a bit shabby. Don't do what we did and leave your car parked in the central square on market day - you won't be able to move it until the market is done!

Creative stylist spot, you will want to stay here

Beautiful and creative place, very interesting concept. Would love to return to be able to fully enjoy the village waking up and some sightseeing.

My only regret is that I didn't have time to fully appreciate the place as I arrived late and left early. Maybe next time

A sweet and quirky spot to call home in a lovely location.

As an interior designer for hotels and restaurants, I loved the sweet and quirky aesthetics, which seemed to match that of the town itself. It had more than I needed as a solo traveler. I felt comfortable and safe. Walking distance to everything, including a fabulous vegan restaurant that the owner showed me. Easy walk from the train station and everywhere else. Better than a sterile hotel for sure!

the bathroom was so unbelievable dirty. lots of fruit flies everywhere and the blankets were so heavy. not really comfortable

This is a super charming place - a former bookstore- with lots of character in the middle of the old town. It has ample space and a very beautiful bathroom. Pity we only stayed one night. Would definitely come back.

Well heated, spacious apartment with well equipped kitchenette. Quirky creative touches from upcycled objects and furniture. Comfy bed, excellent shower, good hairdryer, plenty of electric sockets. Convenient location for old town. Free parking nearby.

The sympathtic host, the nice and historic furniture, the old building, the place in the midst of town. Very lovely.

The temperature was high, 25 degrees, opening a window is not possible because you loose privacy then. Airco is advised.

Séjour au top ! Logement spacieux, bien équipé et très bien décoré, idéalement situé près des points d'intérêt. L'hôte envoie toutes les informations pratiques et nécessaires pour faciliter la récupération des clés et le stationnement. Les petits plus font la différence : livret d'accueil, pastilles lave-vaisselle, sirop et glaçons dans le frigo, huile, sel et poivre etc...

Je testerai bien un autre de bedinshop .

La proximité de tous les endroits à visiter sans forcément prendre la voiture .C’est vraiment un plus pour visiter cette charmante ville riche en histoire . L’appartement atypique. Les équipements tout était bien pensé c’est vraiment agréable .Je suis ravie de cette découverte .

La connexion wifi pas ou peu de réseau . C’est dommage très peu de luminosité naturelle dans l’appartement .Et le fait que nous ne puissions pas aérer les pièces .La seule pièce possible une porte fenêtre dans la chambre parentale sinon pas possible dans les autres pièces .

Tout est parfait ! Il y fait chaud ! C est confortable, simple, propre, bien placé. Parking gratuit à 10 min à pied. Super resto à quelques pas. Appartement original et tout équipé

Un beau séjour que je recommande!

L'appartement est en centre-ville piétonnier très calme. Il est possible de déposer ses bagages en utilisant un genre de dépose-minute, un parking proche est disponible. Il est gratuit de nuit jusqu'à 08:00 du matin. L'appartement est décoré de façon originale et avec gout. La literie est confortable.

Hébergement magnifique. Séjour (1j) trop court mais super.

Appartement magnifiquement rénové et identifié par rapport à sa destination d'origine (bouquiniste), très bien équipé, lits très confortables. Très bonne relation (téléphone)avec François-Xavier notre hébergeur. L'appartement est idéalement situé en centre-ville avec un parking gratuit à 5 mn à pied (vraiment extra). Un musée de la chaussure superbe et bien d'autres choses à voir.

J'aurais souhaité ne pas avoir à tel pour avoir les instructions pour entrer dans l'appart. Les propriétaires d'un autre hébergement m'avaient contactée par SMS pour me donner le code d'entrée et même les photos de la façade...mais ceci dit le contact tel. que j'ai eu a été très agréable et efficace...ce n'est qu'un petit détail

Sehr individuell und kreativ gestaltet. Hat alles, was man braucht. Upcycling und Kreativität stehen im Mittelpunkt. Und dabei ist es auch gemütlich. Wenn wir in der Gegend sind, werden wir sicher wieder bei Bed in Shop absteigen, gern auch länger.

Très agréable

Emplacement parfait dans le vieux Romans. Un espace original et inspirant, né d'une initiative collective et citoyenne. Parfait comme base pour explorer la région, avec ces nombreuses possibilités de marche dans la nature et de visites. La chambre avec lit double est une belle alcove.

Cela ne nous a pas du tout soucié, cependant il est à noter que la lumière du jour ne vient qu'au travers de vitres opaques , compte tenu du fait que c'est une ancienne boutique transformée et que les vitres sont les anciennes vitrines de la boutique donnant sur la rue. Une fois à l'intérieur, c'est très chaleureux et l'on ne peut pas du tout être vu de la rue.
