Disappointing

We love staying at golden palms. We have been here a few time and always enjoyed it. Caravan was okay.

What I didn't like was I had to clean up on arrival and clean cups,plates and cutlery. Then went out one off the days and someone had try the key box. And I gave it a thorough clean on leaving

We enjoyed our stay and would hope to revisit in the future.

The location was good and very close to the beach. There were very good transport links to Skegness and other local attractions. The site had a lot of shops and fast food outlets within walking distance. The village only half a mile away had everything you might need that the on site shop might not supply.

The entertainment on site was either ok or dire. It was £55.00 for a family of four for the week. The pool was expensive at £4.00 per person for only an hour and a half. It was far to small for the number of caravans on site.

Plus on the arrival after the phone call with Wendy and she gave us the code for the caravan we walked in and there was a pile of dirt in the middle of the carpet i pointed it out to guy when he turned up to give us the mattress protectors... we explained about the pile of dirt and he said the cleaners most of emptied there hoover into the black bag and the remains was left on the floor.. there was no toilet roll and when coming to iron our cloths we noticed there wasn't one.. we didn't want to complain about it there and then because we wanted to just have a break and get away for a week because we have lost a family member without having all the stress of complaining we just wanted to try and enjoy ourself as much as we can P.s paying £560 you don't expect the caravan to be at that standard it's was an absolute disgrace for the amount of money we paid no one expects anyone that's coming to a resort to clean the caravan them selfs as I stated for 560 pound spent on a holiday I would like to get in contact with someone and to discuss some kind of refund

Good range of kitchen equipment and utensils.

Very uncomfortable beds. Luke warm shower which had other people’s hairs everywhere. Wobbly dining table and stools. Absolutely freezing at night! The whole place is very old and tired.

Lovely location. Quiet. Quick response to emails. Being able to get in the caravan earlier, was great. Liked having some cleaning products and condiments.

Would have liked a welcome pack. Would have liked large frying pan and metal teaspoons.
