Great place to stay

The cottage was very welcoming as it was lovely and warm and well decorated ready for Christmas with a lovely touch of a bottle of wine and chocolates. The cottage was very spacious yet cosy. The bedrooms were comfortable and made up ready for us. The cottage was well equipped with the added bonus of a cot and high chair. It was in a great location being quiet yet within walking distance of the village.

The only thing I would recommend is to invest in some up to date utensils for the kitchen and maybe some modern appliances such as an air fryer or slow cooker.

Excellent second stay at Sunshine Cottage.

A lovely warm property with under floor heating and central heating.

The radiator in the twin bedroom did not heat up. All of the other radiators were lovely and warm.

Everything immaculate home from home totally great value for money excellent in every way possible. We stopped in bungalow last year, then this year so will book again next year I would reccomend this holiday home to everyone 10 out of 10 thankyou

Awesome home from home!!

Location of the property was absolutely perfect. It was spotlessly clean and very comfy. It was very spacious and the garden was a huge bonus with our 3 yr old. There was plenty of mirrors too which was very appreciated by my 2 teenagers! Very quiet and peaceful and the info from Carl about the surrounding area was great! My husband loved the canvas in the main bedroom of the poppies too,as an ex veteran he wanted to pack this when we left ;) will definitely book again!!

The house exceeded our expectations and is pet friendly, we will be booking again in the future.

The house was excellent and the location was great. The garden was dog safe and the neighbourhood was quiet we would book again in the future.

The bedrooms have some noisy floorboards and the heating system is good but makes a noise when running.

A lovely spacious and warm property. The heating was on when we arrived. It had just about everything we needed. Quiet residential area. Pubs in walking distance. Sea within walking distance.

Absolutely wonderful and what a great place to stay.

On arrival the cottage was well presented, quiet location and close enough to walk to the near by shops and beach. This cottage is defiantly home from home and perfect for a staycation away from home for the entire family. It’s equipped with everything you need down to bowls for your pooches to a needle and cotton if needed. Everything has been covered down to the last detail and attention to detail is 100%. We’ve stayed in my properties along the coast and I’d rate this property to be one of the best . It also has a secure garden so pets can roam at their leisure ensuring no one can make a quick getaway. This cottage is warm,cosy and a place to relax , definitely value for money. As we visit the coast several times a year I will be definitely booking again in the near future. I would like to thank Carl for letting us have a great few days away in this beautiful cottage .

This past weekend, I had the immense pleasure of experiencing a charming cottage in the heart of Skegness. Upon arrival, we were greeted by an incredibly warm and welcoming atmosphere. The cottage was beautifully situated, offering a nice outside space which was a treat to the eyes. The quaint charm of the cottage was offset by its modern amenities, ensuring comfort without sacrificing the authenticity of the experience. Inside, the cottage was immaculately clean and wonderfully cosy. The attention to detail was evident in every corner, from the plush, comfortable beds to the fully equipped kitchen. Speaking of the locale, Skegness offers an abundance of activities and sightseeing opportunities. We enjoyed walks along the stunning beaches, visits to the local shops and restaurants.. There's something for everyone in this charming seaside town. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional service. The hosts were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. They provided us with local recommendations and were always on hand to answer any queries we had. In conclusion, our weekend in the cottage at was a delightful experience that exceeded all our expectations. It offered the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure, providing a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Whether you're seeking a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or a solo retreat, this Sunshine cottage is the perfect destination. This place was really nice, clean, specious, quiet, just what we needed for a holiday with a dog. The garden is really big and private, perfect for dogs. The house is well equipped with kitchen stuff and the bathroom has shampoos, conditioners, bath wash etc. Beds are pretty comfy. I loved the house and the village and enjoyed the weekend away all together. I will be back.

Lovely clean spacious house

The house was very clean, lots of room for our family, a big dining table. Everything you needed, they had thought of, such as games for the kiddies, garden furniture, carrier bags, oil and even some milk in the fridge. There was a driveway for the car. Quiet area. Spacious garden.

Beds were a little squeaky. There wasn't any hot water after 10pm, but owner have responded to say this is due to it being on a timer and they are looking into this.
