Quirky wonky rooms,little garden and very quiet
Window paintwork needed painting,big stain /plaster breaking on ceiling in lounge,separate toilet needed a makeover,pipes looked awful and stained also large step into room,bathroom shower you had to have in facing down otherwise the floor was soaked, and the little entrance to the cottage would be more welcoming if it was swept clear of cobwebs .

Superb location. Loved York.
Clean, warm, quirky.
Confusion over cancellation date meant we could not pull out when we needed to - admittedly my misreading, but there seemed to be no consideration (and we later found it was a very busy weekend in York, so a new booking would have been easy for the hosts to find).
Definitely was not value for money.
Sloping floors and bed took some getting used to.
